Complete transposition of the great arteries is a common life-threatening complex cyanotic congenital heart disease in infants, resulting in the operation usually performed about one week after birth. However, little is known about the surgical strategy and experience of transposition of the great arteries with an intact ventricular septum in older patients. Herein, we present an abandoned 7-year-old boy with severe cyanosis with clubbed fingers and toes and then diagnosed with transposition of the great arteries with an intact ventricular septum, atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, and pulmonary hypertension.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive malignancy, but there is limited improvement in its treatment. Near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging could potentially address the clinical challenges of PDAC. Indocyanine green (ICG) has been widely used in clinical practice; however, its short half-life and lack of active targeting greatly limit its application in pancreatic surgery.

This study aims to assess the methodological and reporting quality of animal experimental studies on the treatment of cervical radiculopathy(CR) with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), analyze the deficiencies during the experimental process, and develop the methods to enhance the quality of such studies. The related articles were retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science. The methodological quality and reporting quality of the included studies were evaluated according to the risk of bias tool of the Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation(SYRCLE) and the Animal Research: Reporting of in vivo Experiments(ARRIVE) 2.

Background And Objectives: The tumor-associated stroma is an essential compartment in breast cancer, and collagen fiber organization in the stroma has been reported to be correlated with prognosis. In this study, we sought to evaluate collagen fiber characteristics in relation to pathological complete response (pCR) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in breast cancer patients.

Methods: A total of 388 breast cancer patients receiving NAC were enrolled.

High temperature is a critical safety concern that poses challenges to the safe and efficient operation of coal mines. To explore the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms of coal exposed to high temperatures, coal samples were subjected to various thermal treatments. After cooling, uniaxial compression tests were performed using an electronic universal testing machine to assess their macroscopic properties.
