Contribution of Hospital-Based Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Titration to the Treatment of Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS) Patients.

Objectives: This retrospective study aims to evaluate the efficacy of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy in treating severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), based on polysomnographic parameters, and to highlight the importance of hospital-based titration in optimizing treatment and guiding choices of alternative ventilation modes.

Methods: Sixty-nine patients (n=69, 100%), predominantly female (n=49, 71%), were included in the study. Polysomnographic data were collected during hospital-based CPAP titration.

Exploring Factors Influencing the Physical and Mental Quality of Life of Caregivers of Cancer Patients: A Cross-Sectional Study at Hassan II University Hospital Center.

Background Cancer is a serious public health problem worldwide, causing an impact not only on the patient's quality of life (QoL) but also on their caregiver. This study aims to assess the socio-demographic characteristics, physical and mental QoL, and associated factors among caregivers of cancer patients at the Hassan II University Hospital Center in Fez, Morocco. Methods This is a cross-sectional study of 247 caregivers of cancer patients.

Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma: Immunohistochemical Classification According to Hans Algorithm and Association With Outcome in A Moroccan Institution.

Background: The most prevalent subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Germinal center B-cell (GCB) and non-germinal center B-cell (non GCB) are the two main biologically different molecular subtypes identified utilizing an immunohistochemistry-based approach.

Aim: Our objective in this study is to analyze the impact of immunohistochemical subtypes of DLBCL (GCB or non GCB) on demographic and clinicopathological parameters, response to chemotherapy and survival outcomes.

Quality of life and its determinants in patients with chronic respiratory diseases in the Fes-Meknes region, Morocco.

Chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) pose a serious public health issue, affecting social functioning and psychological well-being and leading to a deterioration in the quality of life. The aim of this study was to assess the quality of life of patients with CRDs and determine the factors associated with their impairment in Morocco. A cross-sectional study was conducted in the Pulmonology Department of the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez in 2021.

The level and determinants of empathy among medical students from Arabic speaking countries: A systematic review.

Aim: This systematic review aims to investigate the level of empathy among medical students in Arabic speaking countries and analyze its determinants.

Methods: In accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses 2022 (PRISMA), the authors conducted a systematic research of studies investigating the level and determinants of empathy among medical students in Arabic speaking countries. The databases PubMed, Scopus, web of science and google scholar were searched.
