Objective: To identify the predictors of poor visual outcomes after surgery of meningiomas responsible of a compressive optic neuropathy.
Methods: We focused on paraoptic meningiomas (POMs), which gathered tuberculum sellae meningiomas (TSMs) and anterior clinoid meningiomas (ACMs) responsible for visual impairment or threatening visual function, that underwent surgery at our institution between January 2009 and December 2015 and analyzed the clinical and radiological findings of our patients.
Infratentorial arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are rare, representing only 7-15% of cerebral AVM. The concentration of eloquent neurological structures and the high rate of bleeding presentation of AVM in this location complicate the management of such lesions. New therapeutic options, especially in endovascular therapy, have fundamentally modified the treatment strategy and also the outcome of posterior fossa AVM.

Purpose: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of fractionated targeted proton beam therapy (PBT) in the treatment of ONSM and to define its role in the treatment of these tumors.
