To investigate the effect of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) and rituximab (RTX) on pulmonary function test (PFT) results in a mixed cohort of patients with connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD), longitudinally followed up for 1 year in a single academic center. Patients with CTD-ILD were identified in electronic medical records from 1 January 2009 to 30 April 2019. Prescribed MMF and RTX doses, dosage changes, and therapy plans were analyzed individually with improvement in PFT outcomes determined using multivariable linear regression models during 12-month follow-up.

In this study, short and long-term outcomes after right-sided colectomy in screen-detected colon cancer are compared with symptomatic cases, both emergency and elective.
Methods: A prospective observational cohort study of patients, including both screen-detected and symptomatic patients (elective and emergency resections), undergoing right-sided colectomy for colon cancer (2010-2020) in a tertiary care unit was conducted.
Background: As pediatric hospitals continue to grow in innovation, it is important to create a standardized metric to measure this growth and create a network to encourage further innovation. We worked to classify all pediatric hospitals on a scale of innovation with the goal of encouraging collaboration that can lead to more overall innovation.
Methods: All pediatric hospitals worldwide were ranked on a scale of innovation from 1 to 3, with 1 being the most innovative, or "established," and 3 being the least innovative, or "nascent.
Vanadium tetrasulfide (VS) is one of the most promising cathodic materials for rechargeable magnesium battery systems (RMBSs). Elemental substitution to expand layers, creation of sulfur vacancies, and reduction of particle sizes of VS are undoubtedly effective strategies to enhance cathodic performances. Experimental and DFT analysis revealed that valence states of vanadium and cobalt have been elevated from V to V and Co to Co in VS and that the Co-S bond length shortened due to cobalt substitution, which resulted in enhanced overall internal polarization in the layered atomic structure of VS by increasing cobalt concentrations.

Methods: In this phase 3, open-label, randomized trial, we evaluated belantamab mafodotin, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (BVd), as compared with daratumumab, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (DVd), in patients who had progression of multiple myeloma after at least one line of therapy. The primary end point was progression-free survival.
