Background: The ability to generate endogenous Cre recombinase drivers using CRISPR-Cas9 knock-in technology allows lineage tracing, cell type specific gene studies, and validation of inferred developmental trajectories from phenotypic and gene expression analyses. This report describes endogenous zebrafish Cre and CreERT2 drivers generated with GeneWeld CRISPR-Cas9 precision targeted integration.
Results: and knock-ins crossed with ubiquitous -based Switch reporters led to broad labeling in expected mesodermal and neural crest-derived lineages in cardiac, pectoral fins, pharyngeal arch, liver, intestine, and mesothelial tissues, as well as enteric neurons.

Pain experienced by mechanically ventilated patients in intensive care units (ICUs) is often overlooked, but it is a significant issue. With over 5 million annual ICU admissions in the United States, the prevalence of pain during hospitalization and its aftermath is a pressing concern. Chronic pain in ICU survivors has been linked to post-traumatic stress disorder, poor quality of life, and long-term impairments known as postintensive care syndrome.

The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the amount of excess cement that resulted from different cement application techniques. Fifty identical titanium custom abutments and monolithic zirconia crowns were digitally designed and milled in the shape of a maxillary first molar.

Understanding the pathways through which sexual violence impacts these outcomes can inform strategies that appropriately and effectively meet the health needs of sex workers.
Methods: This study investigated the prevalence of sexual violence among female sex workers in Côte d'Ivoire, and the relationship between sexual violence and adverse mental health and substance use outcomes.
