Breast cancer stem cells (CSCs) are resistant to most cancer therapeutics and contribute to tumor recurrence and metastasis. Two breast CSC-promoting transcription factors, truncated glioma-associated oncogene homolog 1 (tGLI1) and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), have been reported to be frequently co-expressed in HER2-enriched breast cancer and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), undergo protein-protein interactions for gene regulation and activation, and functionally cooperate to promote breast CSCs. STAT3 can be activated by activated interleukin-6 receptor/glycoprotein-130 (IL-6R/GP130).

This study aims to evaluate the performance of a 3D convolutional neural network and a 3D Transformer-based model for white matter hyperintensities segmentation, focusing on their efficacy with limited datasets and similar computational resources.
Materials And Methods: We implemented a convolution-based model (3D ResNet-50 U-Net with spatial and channel squeeze & excitation) and a Transformer-based model (3D Swin Transformer with a convolutional stem).
Background: Recent guidance from UK health authorities strongly cautions against the use of valproic acid (VPA) in persons under 55 because of reevaluated risk of teratogenicity.
Objective: To summarize the extant literature documenting VPA-associated anatomical, behavioral, and cognitive teratogenicity.

International students have become one of the main populations in Australian universities. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many international students decided to go to other countries and regions for their higher education due to the border control policies in Australia. Based on the social cognitive career and motivation theory, this study explored the motivations and reasons why Chinese postgraduate international students decided to return to Australia after the Australian government officially re-opened the border for on-campus and face-to-face education and why Chinese postgraduate international students decided to study in Australia instead of other countries, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
