Three-dimensional (3D) printing allows for the construction of complex structures. However, 3D-printing vertical structures with a high aspect ratio remains a pending challenge, especially when a high lateral resolution is required. Here, to address this challenge, we propose and demonstrate micro-3D sculptured metastructures with deep trenches of 1:4 (width:height) aspect ratio for sub-10 µm resolution.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFColloidal II-VI nanocrystals have garnered significant research attention in nonlinear optical applications due to their low-cost synthesis, photophysical tunability, and ease of device integration. Herein, we report that dual-type II CdSe/CdTe/CdSe colloidal quantum wells (CQWs) with core/crown/crown structures achieve remarkable nonlinear optical limiting capabilities driven by an exceptionally large nonlinear absorption coefficient. Open aperture -scan reveals that these dual-type II CQWs exhibit a third-order nonlinear absorption coefficient of 33.

In addition to providing sufficient calorie intake through enteral formulas, appetite stimulants may help address nutritional deficiencies and improve overall prognosis.
Methods: This retrospective study included children who received cyproheptadine (CH) as an appetite stimulant for at least three consecutive months.
Background: Although there are multiple treatment options, oncologists lack appropriate biomarkers for determining the efficacy and toxicity of immunotherapy. In this study, we aimed to use a combination of the clinical parameters of IMDC risk groups at the time of diagnosis to predict the effectiveness of immunotherapy.
Methods: This multicenter cross-sectional study retrospectively analyzed non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients receiving nivolumab for the prognostic effects of clinical factors, including the IMDC score.
The rapid increase in bacterial resistance to existing treatments underscores the critical need for novel therapeutic strategies. Here, an innovative approach using targeted nanocarrier systems that mimic phage-bacteria interactions through phage receptor binding protein (Gp45 from the ϕ11 lysogenic phage) or derived peptides (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5), are introduced. These nanodrugs, exhibited receptor-ligand specificity and strong binding affinity, for the first time, were employed for the precise delivery and targeting of antibiotics within living organisms.
