Background: Health-related Quality of life (HRQoL) assessment is essential for optimizing patient care, treatment adjustments, and medical decision-making, particularly in post-Myocardial Infarction (MI) patients, but limited data exists on HRQOL post-MI from Pakistan. This study aimed to assess HRQoL and its determinants in the Pakistani population.
Methods: A single-center cross-sectional study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital in Karachi, Pakistan.
Background/objectives: This study examined the association between adherence to the Mediterranean dietary approaches to stop hypertension Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) diet, its components, and recurrent depressive symptoms (DepSs).
Methods: The analyses included 4824 participants (73% men, mean age = 61; SD = 5.9) from the British Whitehall II cohort study.

Chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy has revolutionized the treatment of blood cancer. By improving survival outcomes for patients with B-cell malignancies, which hitherto have been unparalleled by conventional chemotherapy, CAR-T therapy is a beacon of hope for many patients with cancer. However, harvesting, modifying, and reintroducing T cells is costly, which means that not every patient with cancer who needs CAR-T therapy has the financial capacity to receive it.
