Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence study of PN junction p-graphene/n-GaAs.

Single layer graphene (SLG) was synthesized via high-quality chemical vapor deposition (CVD) on high-quality copper and subsequently transferred onto SiO2 and on n-GaAs substrates with varying doping electron concentrations (n = 1016, 1017, 5 × 1017, 1018, and 5 × 1018 cm-3). The n-GaAs substrates were grown by molecular beam epitaxy. The optical properties of the SLG were investigated through photoluminescence (PL) and Raman spectroscopy measurements.

Development of a guideline for the use of ultrasonography in rheumatoid arthritis: Preliminary recommendations.

Aim: To address the protocol of recommendations for the use of ultrasonography (US) in the management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in routine practice.

Methods: The present study is a protocol design for practical guidelines. Based on a systematic literature review, the scientific committee (composed of 6 experts on US) decided on key questions which will be used to develop recommendations.

A Rare Case of Hypophosphataemic Osteomalacia in von Recklinghausen Neurofibromatosis.

Background: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1), also known as von Recklinghausen disease, is a one of the more common hereditary autosomal disorders. However, osteomalacia in neurofibromatosis type 1 is very rare tumour-induced osteomalacia; fibroblast growth factor-23 is usually implicated.

Patients And Methods: We report the case of a patient with a history of von Recklinghausen neurofibromatosis who presented with hypophosphataemic osteomalacia.
