Development of a simple and valid nutrition screening tool for pediatric hospitalized patients with acute illness.

Nutritional screening, intervention and assessment in patients with undernutrition are key components of any nutritional care. The goal of any nutritional assessment is to determine the specific nutritional risk(s). Presently, there are no guidelines on any ideal screening tool to be used on admission for identification of children that are at risk of developing malnutrition during their hospital stay.

Health problems among street children seeking care in the Center for Social and Preventive Medicine in Egypt.

Background: In Egypt, around 1 million children are on the streets. Street children's health is an issue that is not well researched. The objective of the current study was to determine the health problems of a targeted group of street children seeking medical care and to generate a hypothesis about the positive/negative role of street children care organizations.

A prospective controlled study of karyotyping for 430 consecutive babies conceived through intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

Objective: To compare the karyotype of babies conceived through ICSI with that of naturally conceived babies.
