Article Synopsis
  • The long pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser (LPND) is effective for reducing wrinkles and improving skin laxity, particularly for deeper skin layers due to its longer wavelength.
  • A study involving 20 participants used a randomized split-face approach, demonstrating a 45.1% reduction in wrinkles and increased skin elasticity after three treatment sessions.
  • The findings suggest that LPND can enhance skin appearance with minimal side effects and no serious complications, supporting the success of the new treatment parameters used.
