The surgical procedure detailed in this case report focuses on the treatment of a large cardiac hydatid cyst located in the intraventricular septum. The surgical intervention comprised a comprehensive approach involving a median sternotomy and cardiopulmonary bypass. A localized mass below the tricuspid valve at the basal region of the interventricular septum was revealed.

Objectives: This methodological study aimed to adapt the DLS, introduced for individuals aged 18-60 years, to those aged 60 years and older and to determine its psychometric properties.
Methods: We collected the data between December 15, 2021 and April 18, 2022. We carried out the study with a sample of 60 years and older living in the city center of Burdur, Turkey.
Cerebral cortex development in humans is a highly complex and orchestrated process that is under tight genetic regulation. Rare mutations that alter gene expression or function can disrupt the structure of the cerebral cortex, resulting in a range of neurological conditions. Lissencephaly ('smooth brain') spectrum disorders comprise a group of rare, genetically heterogeneous congenital brain malformations commonly associated with epilepsy and intellectual disability.

Such SUEPs are predicted by hidden valley models with a new, confining force with a large 't Hooft coupling. In events with boosted topologies, selected by high-threshold hadronic triggers, the multiplicity and sphericity of clustered tracks are used to reject the background from standard model quantum chromodynamics.

The data are compatible with the predicted background. For the first time, an upper limit at the 95% confidence level of 6.

A retrospective review of our prospectively maintained database identified 329 patients who underwent retroperitoneal LPN from January 2013 to October 2022. The patients divided into 2 groups defined by age ≥70 or <70 years at the time of surgery.

In this retrospective observational cross-sectional study, women admitted to current clinic with DOR undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection were divided into 2 groups according to the obesity. Patient age, body mass index, anti-mullerian hormone, baseline follicle stimulating hormone and baseline estradiol levels, antral follicle count, total gonadotropin dose, day of stimulation, number of mature (MII) oocytes, and clinical pregnancy were evaluated.

This study investigates the relationship between OSA severity and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and c-Fos, which are considered indicators of neuronal damage.
Methods: The study included 84 participants (70 patients with OSA and 14 healthy individuals).
Background/aim: To present the incidence of recurrent lumbar disc herniation (RLDH) and to identify radiological and patient-related risk factors that lead to recurrence after lumbar disc herniation (LDH) treatment with microdiscectomy.
Materials And Methods: Between January 2013 and December 2021, 1214 patients who had undergone microdiscectomy for LDH were included in this retrospective study. Patients were divided into two groups, the recurrent group and the non-recurrent group, and their demographic, clinical and radiologic characteristics were recorded.
In the present study, antioxidant activity and inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and paraoxonase (hPON 1) of Alchemilla lithophila extracts were evaluated for the first time. Besides, there is no research on the contents of phenolic compounds except for fatty acids. In this context, phenolic compounds of A.

Methods: From January 2013 to March 2019, a retrospective analysis was conducted on 109 patients who had been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and received treatment with apixaban, rivaroxaban, or warfarin within 1 week of symptom onset. Demographic, clinical data, and venous recanalization responses on Doppler ultrasonography of the patients that were followed-up 1 year from the date of diagnosis were evaluated.
Unlabelled: WHAT IS KNOWN ON THE SUBJECT?: It was previously reported that perceived external locus of control may exacerbate depressive symptoms, is associated with anxiety, boosts stress and general mental distress and weakens resilience against traumatic situations or difficulties. WHAT THE PAPER ADDS TO EXISTING KNOWLEDGE?: Those with a higher external locus of control are more prone to develop PTSD symptoms since the perceived external locus of control is among the predictors of PTSD. An internal locus of control is considered important in preventing PTSD, although an external locus of control appears to be a variable that causes/increases the prevalence of PTSD.

Introduction: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic negatively affected the mental and sexual health of individuals, especially healthcare professionals. In this study, we aimed to investigate the changes in anxiety and sexual activity of male healthcare professionals following vaccination.
Methodology: This prospective cross-sectional and descriptive online survey was conducted between July 1, 2021 and November 1, 2021, involving a total of 170 healthcare professionals.
Objective: Primary debulking surgery has been the preferred surgical route and is still considered a quality indicator for advanced ovarian cancer surgery. However, a significant number of patients are not amenable to upfront surgery. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy and interval debulking surgery may be the most suitable approach for this group.

To investigate the relationship of serum lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] and other serum lipids with presence of Graves' ophthalmopathy (GO). A total of 99 consecutive patients diagnosed with Graves' disease (GD), aged 18-65 years, who had not received prior treatment for GO, thyroid surgery, or radioactive iodine therapy, were recruited between June 2020 and July 2022. In addition, 56 healthy controls (HCs) were included as the control group.

Patients And Methods: The retrospective study included platinum-sensitive epithelial ovarian cancer patients who had previously received paclitaxel and carboplatin therapy. Between 2013-2021, cross-matched 45 patients who received gemcitabine and 48 who received liposomal doxorubicin as third-line therapy were compared based on clinicopathological characteristics, biomarkers, and blood cancer antigen (CA) 125 levels.
This study aimed to compare the antero-lateral and posterior localized renal masses in laparoscopic partial nephrectomy with the retroperitoneal approach in terms of operative, functional, and oncological outcomes. Patients who underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy by a single surgeon between January 2013 and January 2021 were included in the study. A one-to-one propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was conducted to obtain two balanced groups.
