We report the case of a patient with metastatic breast cancer who presented with an orthostatic headache. After a comprehensive diagnostic workup including MRI and lumbar puncture, we maintained the diagnosis of intracranial hypotension (IH). The patient was therefore treated with two consecutive non targeted epidural blood patches, resulting in the remission of IH symptoms for 6 months.

Diffuse gliomas, the most frequent and aggressive primary central nervous system neoplasms, currently lack effective curative treatments, particularly for cases lacking the favorable prognostic marker mutation. Nonetheless, advances in molecular biology allowed to identify several druggable alterations in a subset of wild-type gliomas, such as and fusions, and hotspot mutations. Multi-tyrosine kinase inhibitors, such as regorafenib, also showed efficacy in the setting of recurrent glioblastoma.

Objective: To assess whether RAF and MEK inhibitors (RAFi/MEKi) can provide long-term clinical benefit in adult patients with V600-mutant glial and glioneuronal tumors (GGNTs), we analyzed tumor response and long-term outcome in a retrospective cohort.

Methods: We performed a retrospective search in the institutional databases of 6 neuro-oncology departments for adult patients with recurrent or disseminated V600-mutant GGNTs treated with RAFi/MEKi.

Results: Twenty-eight adults with recurrent or disseminated V600-mutant gangliogliomas (n = 9), pleomorphic xanthoastrocytomas (n = 9), and diffuse gliomas (n = 10) were included in the study.

Global Navigation Satellite System-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) has emerged as a remote sensing tool, which is complementary to traditional monostatic radars, for the retrieval of geophysical parameters related to surface properties. In the present paper, we describe a new polarimetric GNSS-R system, referred to as the GLObal navigation satellite system Reflectometry Instrument (GLORI), dedicated to the study of land surfaces (soil moisture, vegetation water content, forest biomass) and inland water bodies. This system was installed as a permanent payload on a French ATR42 research aircraft, from which simultaneous measurements can be carried out using other instruments, when required.

Paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis is a rare clinical entity, most often associated with small cell lung cancer. We report a case of a 54-year-old man presenting status epilepticus, cognitive dysfunction and loss of short term memory associated with epidermoid lung carcinoma. CT scan was normal whereas MRI revealed hyperintensities on T2WI and FLAIR images in the temporolimbic regions.
