The complexity of biaxial tests and analysis of their results makes it difficult to study the interlaminar shear properties of fibre-reinforced composites, particularly under through-thickness compression, which occurs in thick-walled composite elements. The improvements in experimental methods to study the features of the nonlinear behaviour of composites under biaxial loading is now an important and relevant task in the development aircraft structural elements made of carbon fibre-reinforced polymers. This study aimed to develop a new experimental approach for the reliable determination of the interlaminar shear properties of laminates under through-thickness compression using a standard testing machine.

During the period of 2010-2015 laparoscopic surgery was performed in 1263 patients: 1113 with endometrial cancer (588 hysterectomies, 509 hysterectomies with pelvic lymphadenectomy, among them 16 with sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping with Indocyanine green (ICG)); 86 with cervical cancer (80 nerve-sparing radical hysterectomies (NSRH), among them 15 with SLN mapping, 6 radical vaginal trachelectomies with endovideoassisted lymphadenectomy); 64 with ovarian malignancies. The average operating time in the group of hysterectomies was 101 minutes, in the group of hysterectomies with pelvic lymphadenectomy - 184 minutes, in the group of NSRH - 230 minutes. Average blood loss was less than 50 ml.

We analyzed the international and our own experience of using different dyes in the identification of sentinel lymph nodes in oncogynecological practice. We evaluated the possibility of using indocyanine green (ICG) in the detection of sentinel lymph nodes in patients with endometrial and cervical cancer. The first results of the use of ICG at the Oncogynecology Department of the N.

Surgery is the main method in treatment for endometrial cancer. The complexity of treatment of endometrial cancer patients in elderly age is a result of a large number of comorbidities and, as a consequence, the potential possibility of a large number of intra--and postoperative complications. The article presents the international data and the analysis of own results of a use of laparoscopy in surgical treatment of these patients.

The purpose of this study was to examine the clinical significance of mutations in BRCA1/2 in the formation of response to neoadjuvant platinum-based chemotherapy for ovarian cancer (OC). All patients who had had neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) in our Institute from January 2000 till January 2013 were tested for carrier of mutations in BRCA1/2. In accordance with the BRCA-status we formed two groups--a group with hereditary advanced OC and a group with non-hereditary advanced OC.

The potential of preoperative radiochemotherapy in combined treatment of cervical carcinoma T1B-2ABN0-1M0 has been investigated. The use of cisplatin raised the feasibility of radical surgery from 69 to 87%, as compared with radiation alone, and increased 2-year overall and relapse-free survival to 92.6% and 89.

To identify secondary immunodeficiency, the author examined 510 patients with various types of chronic bronchitis (CB) and revealed that 82.5% of the examinees had secondary immunodeficiency syndrome which was characterized by immunological alterations: decreased T lymphocyte counts which was most common in patients with obstructive CB, differences in lymphocytic proliferation in response to PGA, which indicates reductions in the functional activity of T cells and in effector links of the immunity system, an increase in the blood levels of circulating immune complexes, imbalance in the ratio of Ig classes. The leading clinical manifestation of patients with secondary immunodeficiency was an infectious process: frequent, advanced or chronic infections.
