Our aim was to establish an easy and convenient procedure for the preparation of fluorine-18-sodium fluoride ((18)F-NaF) for bone positron emission tomography (PET) during routine (18)F-FDG production using the Explora FDG4 radiochemistry module (EFRM) by single run of Cyclotron with negligible radiation exposure. We compared three techniques for (18)F-NaF production during routine PET radiochemistry at our setup. In one method we used synthesis module and in other two methods we did not.

Aim: To evaluate the treatment response of rhenium-188 (¹⁸⁸Re) tin colloid radiosynovectomy (¹⁸⁸Re-RSV) in patients with inflammatory knee joint conditions refractory to conventional treatment.

Materials And Methods: Sixty-one knee joints in 48 patients with chronic synovitis caused by various inflammatory knee joint diseases refractory to conventional therapy were included in this prospective study. All patients were assessed clinically for pain, tenderness, joint swelling, mobility, analgesic intake, and blood pool activity on bone scan.

There is considerable chemical and structural similarity between the widely used oncophilic substance pentavalent dimercaptosuccinic acid labeled with (99m)Tc [(99m)Tc-DMSA(V)] and the renal imaging agent trivalent [(99m)Tc-DMSA(III)]. Other renal imaging agents like diethyltriamine penta acetic acid (DTPA) and glucoheptonate labeled with (99m)Tc have been used for imaging brain lesions, mainly for brain tumor imaging. The aim of this study was to evaluate technetium labeled (99m)Tc-DMSA(III) for brain tumor imaging.
