Beyond the physical realm: exploring the relationship between spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between nurses' spiritual well-being and their competence in providing spiritual care, and to identify influencing factors among Turkish nurses.

Methods: A descriptive and correlative design was employed, involving 520 nurses from two hospitals in eastern Turkey. Data were collected online using Google Forms, which included a demographic questionnaire, the three-factor Spiritual Well-being Scale and the Spiritual Care Competence Scale.

Fear of Death and Sleep Quality in the Aftermath of an Earthquake.

Purpose: To examine fear of death and disruption in sleep patterns in individuals who have experienced an earthquake.

Method: A descriptive and relationship-oriented study was performed with 322 individuals who experienced the February 6, 2023, earthquake in Turkey. Data were collected between February 20 and May 15, 2023.

Background: Xenotransplantation (XTx) is an alternative treatment for organ scarcity. Investigating the acceptance of XTx among patients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds is essential. Compassion in action: Exploring the relationship between nurse conscientious intelligence and palliative care.

Backgorund: Conscience is a concept that is the foundation of nursing, guiding nurses to ethical practices, and helping them to provide the best professional care possible. Conscience enables nurses to be understanding and careful in patient care.

Aim: The study had three aims: (1) to determine the level of conscientious intelligence and palliative care practice of intensive care nurses; (2) to determine the effect of sociodemographic and occupational variables on conscientious intelligence and palliative care practices; and (3) to examine the relationship between conscientious intelligence and palliative care practice.

Breathing better: A tech-monitored study of positive expiratory pressure and reading aloud for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Background: Breathing exercises, such as diaphragmatic breathing and positive expiratory pressure (PEP), relieve breathlessness in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Aim: This study aimed to investigate the effects of breathing exercises with PEP and reading aloud on vital signs, fatigue level, severity of dyspnoea and respiratory function parameters in patients with COPD.

Design: The study followed a randomized controlled trial of COPD patients from a single hospital in eastern Turkey.

Undergraduate Nursing Students' Stress and Fear of Missing Out.

Background: This descriptive study analyzed the stress in nursing education and the fear of missing out.

Method: This study was conducted at a public university in eastern Turkey and included 1,119 undergraduate nursing students.

Result: Findings indicated there was no statistically significant relationship between the levels of stress experienced by students during their nursing education and their fears of missing out.
