Article Synopsis
  • - The study aimed to examine how the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) relates to diagnosing and assessing the severity of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) in 173 affected women compared to 266 healthy pregnant women.
  • - Results showed that the severe ICP group had lower leukocyte and neutrophil counts but higher monocyte counts compared to controls, while the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) was elevated in mild ICP cases.
  • - Although elevated SII values indicate inflammation in ICP, they are not effective for diagnosis or severity assessment, whereas the PLR may be a potential marker for ICP evaluation.

The aim of this study was to investigate the regression rate of endometrial polyps and the possible factors related to their spontaneous regression.

On the other hand, sometimes some occult carcinomas of uterus like leiomyosarcomas may be reported for the patients' applied morcellation. This condition is rare but outcomes are clinically significant.
