Inhibiting the activity of immune checkpoint proteins to reignite the antitumor activity of immune cells has emerged as a pivotal strategy. PD-L1 and VISTA, as critical proteins governing immune regulation, are concurrently upregulated under conditions such as hypoxia. Through a rational drug design process, , a dual-target inhibitor for PD-L1 and VISTA is identified.

In this work, the effects of different sintering temperatures and TiO concentrations on the dielectric properties of ZrO and NbO pre-doped CaCuTiO (CCTO) ceramics were investigated. These doped ceramics were sintered at temperatures of 1020, 1030, and 1040 °C, exhibiting the lowest dielectric loss of 0.01, which consistently remained below 0.

This work presents the effect of incomplete line defect size on elastic wave energy localization and harvesting. The results show that for a given 7 × 5 supercell when the incomplete line defect reaches the second to sixth layer, the energy localization and harvesting performance show a changing trend of first increasing and then decreasing; when the incomplete line defect reaches the 4th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, and 6th layers of the supercell, respectively, the performance of PEH systems shows a trend from large to small.

The ratio of BuOOH to TMSN was essential for the reaction: one equivalent TMSN was needed to react with BuOOH to form HN as a nucleophile in the reaction ultimately achieving the diazidation of alkenes.

In this paper, a method of stellar spectrum simulation based on back propagation neural network-based PID (BP-PID) control is proposed to achieve high efficiency and high precision simulation of various spectral targets. The topology of the BP neural network was constructed based on the spectral modulation model of a DMD stellar spectrum simulation system, and the algorithm of the BP-PID control was designed.

The goal is to build a solid foundation of enhanced workflow and technical principles that will ultimately improve the accuracy of measurements of coronary blood flow reserve fractions. This improvement is critical for assessing the level of ischemia in patients with coronary heart disease.

The ultrasound-coupled divalent iron ion activated persulfate process can effectively promote sludge dewatering and improve organic substance content. Under the action of ultrasound (US 50 w/L), divalent iron ions (Fe) 200 mg/g (TS), and persulfate (PDS) 200 mg/g (TS) for 60 min, the capillary suction time (CST) was reduced by 79.

We propose a multi-source information fusion spatial target simulation method system that features a "series-parallel" hybrid connection. We optimize the design of a multi-spectral common aperture optical system and experimentally verify the proposed method.

Firstly, the unequal aperture off-axis optical integrator structure is designed based on the scalar diffraction theory to analyze the factors affecting the optical homogenization ability of the optical integrator. Then, the relationship between sub-eye lens aperture and arrangement is explored in combination with Lagrange invariance principle and semi-definite programming theory.

Here, we report the design, synthesis, and evaluation of a series of methoxy-pyrimidine-based VISTA small molecule inhibitors with potent antitumor activity. By employing molecular docking and microscale thermophoresis (MST) assay, we identified a lead compound that binds to VISTA protein with high affinity and optimized its structure.

This study proposes a design method of optimized TIR prism (OTIR) based on Snell's law in medium-wave infrared (MWIR) to solve the problem. The radiation theory is used to construct the constraint model of the OTIR prism in the MWIR target simulation system.

Methods: 98 patients with primary lung adenocarcinoma were pathologically confirmed and CT was performed preoperatively, and all lesions were pathologically ≤ 30 mm in size. On CT images, we measured the maximum area of the lesion's cross-section (MA).
Denitrifying phosphorus removal using nitrite as an electron acceptor is an innovative, resource-efficient approach for nitrogen and phosphorus removal. However, the inhibitory effects of nitrite on anoxic phosphorus uptake and process stability are unclear. This study investigated the total phosphorus removal performance under nitrite stress and analyzed microbiome responses in 186 sludge samples.

In recent years, the development of bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) has been rapid, with many new structures and target combinations being created. The boom in bsAbs has led to the successive issuance of industry guidance for their development in the US and China. However, there is a high degree of similarity in target selection, which could affect the development of diversity in bsAbs.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFerrocene is perhaps the most popular and well-studied organometallic molecule, but our understanding of its structure and electronic properties has not changed for more than 70 years. In particular, all previous attempts of chemically oxidizing pure ferrocene by binding directly to the iron center have been unsuccessful, and no significant change in structure or magnetism has been reported. Using a metal organic framework host material, we were able to fundamentally change the electronic and magnetic structure of ferrocene to take on a never-before observed physically stretched/bent high-spin Fe(II) state, which readily accepts O from air, chemically oxidizing the iron from Fe(II) to Fe(III).
