Primary squamous cell carcinoma of seminal vesicle is extremely rare, and most cases regarding seminal vesicle tumors failed to address this kind of tumor. A 54-year-old male patient presented with intermittent painless visual hematuria for 6 months was hospitalized. Ultrasonography, computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a 4.

Methods: Fourty-three cases of childhood BL were retrospectively investigated in morphology, immunophenotype, genotype, treatments and survival analysis.
Results: Clinically, there was a marked male predominance in sex distribution (M: F=9.
Purpose: To better understand the differences of patient influx and types of trauma between front-line and referral hospitals after the Wenchuan earthquake, so as to improve the efficiency of injury management.
Methods: A retrospective and comparative study was performed in Deyang People's Hospital (a front-line hospital) and West China Hospital (a secondary referral hospital).
Results: A total of 1,106 patients were admitted to the front-line hospital, and 1,775 to the secondary referral hospital.
The aim of this study was to prospectively evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of hyaluronic acid (HA) and meloxicam for the treatment of knee pain due to Kashin-Beck disease (KBD). A total of 162 patients with KBD-based knee pain were randomly assigned to treatment with a 3-week course of HA (n = 80) and a 12-week course of meloxicam (n = 82). Clinical assessments for each patient were made at 0 (baseline), 1, 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks.

The purpose of this article was to report the first successful hybrid repair of TAAA in China. We performed a two-stage hybrid surgical and endovascular procedure to manage a Safi type V TAAA with the celiac artery, superior mesenteric artery and bilateral renal arteries in a 45-year-old male with poor cardiopulmonary reserves.

Materials And Methods: Forty-eight patients with type 2 diabetes and 67 healthy controls were recruited. All patients were further divided into four subgroups based on renal functional level.
Aims: To evaluate the protective effect of berberine on β-cell lipoapoptosis induced by palmitate and to explore the possible underlying mechanisms.
Materials And Methods: HIT-T15 pancreatic β-cells were divided into the following treatment groups: untreated controls; 100 μM berberine; 0.5 mM palmitate; 0.
To screen different combinations of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) promoter/enhancer with the strongest transcriptional activity in prostate-specific cells, we used PSMA regulatory elements to control specific expression of the target gene in gene therapy of prostate adenocarcinoma. PSMA promoter and enhancer DNA sequences were amplified from the LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line by polymerase chain reaction, then recombinant plasmids of the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP: pEGFP-PSMA(Pro), pEGFP-PSMA(E-P), pEGFP-PSMA(E(r)-P), pEGFP-PSMA(E(d)-P), and pEGFP-PSMA(E(t)-P)) were constructed with molecular clonal techniques. At the same time, all experimental cell lines were analyzed for the expression of PSMA with the use of PSMA monoclonal antibody and the ABC immunohistochemical assay kit.
