Effects of platelet-rich fibrin combined with guided bone regeneration in the reconstruction of peri-implantitis bone defect.

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) combined with guided bone regeneration (GBR) in the reconstruction of peri-implantitis bone defect.

Methods: This prospective study included 80 patients with peri-implantitis who underwent implant restoration in the Department of Stomatology in our hospital. The eligible patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group.

The application of locking-taper implants in posterior area implant restoration with insufficient occlusal-gingival distances.

Objective: We aimed to investigate the effect of locking-taper implants on restoration in the posterior teeth area with insufficient occlusal-gingival distances.

Methods: Forty-five patients undergoing dental implants in our hospital with occlusal-gingival distances under 5 mm in the posterior teeth area were recruited for this retrospective study. A total of 78 locking-taper implants were implanted in these patients.

A User-Oriented Intelligent Access Selection Algorithm in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks.

A heterogeneous wireless network (HWN) contains many kinds of wireless networks with overlapping areas of signal coverage. One of the research topics on HWNs is how to make users choose the most suitable network. This paper designs a user-oriented intelligent access selection algorithm in HWNs with five modules (input, user preference calculation, candidate network score calculation, output, and learning).
