In this study, cobalt-doped hexagonal phase WO nanorods were prepared by a template-free hydrothermal method. The effects of varying the cobalt doping concentration on the microscopic morphology and electrochromic properties of hexagonal phase WO films were investigated. Films synthesized with the optimal cobalt element doping concentration demonstrate a notable improvement in their electrochromic properties compared to the pure hexagonal phase WO films.

Regulating the different growth states of polypyrrole (PPy) is a key strategy for obtaining PPy composites with high electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption properties. This work finds that the growth states of PPy is regulated by controlling the amount of pyrrole added during the preparation of composites, so as to regulate the development of conductive networks to obtain excellent EMW absorption performance. The POP/PPy-200 composite achieves an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 6.

The hypoxic microenvironment of solid tumors can lead to reduced therapeutic DNA damage to the tumor cells, thus diminishing tumor sensitivity to radiotherapy. Although hypoxic radiosensitizers can improve radiotherapy efficacy by enhancing the role of oxygen, their effects are limited by the uneven distribution of oxygen within solid tumor tissues. The recapitulation of tumor microenvironment is of great interest to preclinical screening of drugs. Compared with culture of cell lines, tumor organ slices can better preserve the complex tumor architecture and phenotypic activity of native cells, but are limited by their exposure to fluid shear and gradual degradation under perfusion culture. Existing neural heuristics for multiobjective vehicle routing problems (MOVRPs) are primarily conditioned on instance context, which failed to appropriately exploit preference and problem size, thus holding back the performance. To meet the requirements of time-frequency networks and enable frequency downloadability for nodes along the link, we demonstrated the extraction of stable frequency signals at nodes using a mode-locked laser under the condition of 100 km laboratory fiber. The node consists of a simple structure that utilizes widely used optoelectronic devices and enables plug-and-play applications. In addition, the node can recover frequency signals with multiple frequencies, which are useful for scenarios that require different frequencies.

This paper aims to explore the feasibility of utilizing serum Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, combined with machine learning and deep learning algorithms, to efficiently differentiate between healthy individuals, hysteromyoma patients, and cervical cancer patients. Although renal fibrosis can advance chronic kidney disease and progressively lead to end-stage renal failure, no effective anti-fibrotic drugs have been clinically approved. To aid drug development, we developed a biomimetic renal fibrosis progression model on-chip to evaluate anti-fibrotic effects of natural killer cell-derived extracellular vesicles and pirfenidone (PFD) across different fibrotic stages. First, the dynamic interplay between fibroblasts and kidney-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) resembling the fibrogenic niche on-chip demonstrated that myofibroblasts induced by stiff ECM in 3 days were reversed to fibroblasts by switching to soft ECM, which was within 2, but not 7 days.
