Background: The incidence rate of acute pancreatitis (AP), which is a pathophysiological process with complex etiology, is increasing globally. miR-125b-5p, a bidirectional regulatory miRNA, is speculated to exhibit anti-tumor activity. However, exosome-derived miR-125b-5p in AP has not been reported.

Purpose: To probe into the needs and barriers underlying patients' participation in shared decision-making related to rehabilitation nursing for hemophilic arthropathy.
Patients And Methods: The phenomenological research approach was adopted to conduct a series of semi-structured, in-depth interviews with 15 patients with hemophilic arthropathy undergoing rehabilitative treatments, 10 caregivers, and 7 healthcare providers from a hemophilia treatment center in Shanxi province, China. Colaizzi's seven-step method of data analysis was applied to organize, analyze, and extract the themes from the interview materials.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is one of the most common fatal neurodegenerative diseases in adults. ALS pathogenesis is associated with toxic SOD1 aggregates generated by mutant SOD1. Since autophagy is responsible for the clearance of toxic protein aggregates including SOD1 aggregates, autophagy induction has been considered as a potential strategy for treating ALS.

This study investigated the effects of human placental mesenchymal stem cells (PMSCs) labeled with ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxides (USPIOs) on the growth of CRC cells and the feasibility of 3.0-T magnetic resonance (MR) imaging as an in vivo tracer.

The "One-step" strategy represents a novel treatment, but the safety, efficacy, and long-term follow-up have not yet been compared between these two approaches.
Aim: To compare the safety, efficacy, and long-term follow-up of two surgical approaches to provide a reference for infected pancreatic necrosis treatment.
Based on the standard method of dendrochronology, we examined the tree-ring width index of two dominant tree species in the Altay Mountains, China, including and . We analyzed the basal area increments (BAI) of those two species and the relationships between their radial growth and the climatic factors, which were compared in similar habitats. The results showed that the BAI of was greater than , but the radial growth rate of was greater.

It is important to predict whether the NACT would be effective before it is launched. Hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) is the master transcriptional regulator of the cellular response to altered oxygen concentration.

In this study, we show that the cytochrome c oxidase (COX)-1, a core catalytic subunit of mitochondrial complex IV, was acetylated and deactivated both in 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane) dihydrochloride-treated NIH/3T3 cells and hydrogen peroxide-treated primary neuronal cells, correlating with apoptotic cell death induction by oxidative stress. Inhibition of Sirt3 by small interfering RNA or the inhibitor nicotinamide induced accumulation of acetylation of COX-1, reduced mitochondrial membrane potential, and increased cell apoptosis.

Background: Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common acute abdominal disease worldwide, and its incidence rate has increased annually. Approximately 20% of AP patients develop into necrotizing pancreatitis (NP), and 40% to 70% of NP patients have infectious complications, which usually indicate a worse prognosis. Infection is an important sign of complications in NP patients.

A total of 11 549 women were enrolled from the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Hubei Province. Each participant accepted hrHPV testing and completed a self-administered questionnaire about basic information and potential risk factors.

In the present study, we evaluated the joint status of hemophilic patients from Shanxi Province, China, using musculoskeletal ultrasonography (MSKUS) and identified the factors that most strongly correlated with disease severity. The study included 104 patients with hemophilia, who underwent MSKUS examination.

A number of studies have hypothesized that the expression status of certain genes may be used to predict prognosis in ovarian cancer. In the present study, the RNA expression data from next-generation sequencing and the clinical information of 413 patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas dataset was downloaded to identify the association between gene-expression level and the survival time of the patients with ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.

Objective: To investigate the imbalance of Tc1/Tc2,Th1/Th2 and Tc/Th in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) and its relationship with the clinical stages of SLE.
Methods: The full blood culture and flow cytometry with fluorescence-labelled T lymphocytes were used to detect the levels of T-lymphocyte subsets and its intracellular factors IFN-γ and IL-4 in peripheral blood from SLP patients in active, inactive stages and normal healthy persons as controls, to compare the changes of Tc1,Tc2; Th1,Th2 levels and Tc/Th ratio in SLP patients in active and inactive stages, and to analyze their relationship with SLEDAI staging.
Results: Compared with healthy controls, the levels of CD4/CD8 in active SLE patients were significantly lower, but the levels of Tc1,Th1 in active SLE patients were higher than those in inactive SLE patients and normal controls.
Objective: To establish a multiplex STR genotyping method for autosomal STR and Y-STR loci in forensic biological practice.
Methods: Widely used autosomal STR loci and Y-STR loci were selected. A set of PCR primers was designed, and a 5-dye fluorescent labeled STR multiplex PCR reagent kit was developed.

The spectrometric oil analysis(SOA) is an important technique for machine state monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis, and SOA based remaining useful life(RUL) prediction has an advantage of finding out the optimal maintenance strategy for machine system. Because the complexity of machine system, its health state degradation process can't be simply characterized by linear model, while particle filtering(PF) possesses obvious advantages over traditional Kalman filtering for dealing nonlinear and non-Gaussian system, the PF approach was applied to state forecasting by SOA, and the RUL prediction technique based on SOA and PF algorithm is proposed. In the prediction model, according to the estimating result of system's posterior probability, its prior probability distribution is realized, and the multi-step ahead prediction model based on PF algorithm is established.

This study was aimed to investigate the expression of p53-inducible gene 3 (PIG-3) in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and the relationship between PIG-3 and the pathogenesis of lymphoma. The expression of PIG-3 in 20 patients with DLBCL and 20 healthy adults (as a control group) was detected by Western blot and RT-PCR. The results showed that the expression of PIG-3 protein in patients with DLBCL was significantly lower than that in controls, but the expression of PIG-3 was higher after chemotherapy for 6 months than that before chemotherapy.
