Cisplatin (Cis), a potent chemotherapeutic agent, often causes acute kidney injury (AKI), limiting its clinical efficacy. RONS flares at the AKI site are a key factor in its progression. In this study, leveraging the advantages of cell membrane-coated biomimetic nanocarriers, we developed a multifunctional biomimetic nanodelivery system nano-RONS-sacrificial agent for AKI treatment.

The rise of big data and the internet of things has driven the demand for multimodal sensing and high-efficiency low-latency processing. Inspired by the human sensory system, we present a multifunctional optoelectronic-memristor-based reservoir computing (OM-RC) system by utilizing a CuSCN/PbS quantum dots (QDs) heterojunction. The OM-RC system exhibits volatile and nonlinear responses to electrical signals and wide-spectrum optical stimuli covering ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared (NIR) regions, enabling multitask processing of dynamic signals.

However, existing predictive models have yet to integrate the regularity and randomness of viral mutations with minimal data requirements. Here, we develop a non-demanding language model utilizing both regularity and randomness to predict candidate SARS-CoV-2 variants and mutations that might prevail.

Our study aims to analyse the impact of the reform of the payment policy according to the DRG on the operation of a tertiary hospital in Anhui Province.
Methods: Monthly data were collected from April 2020 to September 2023 during the reform period for a tertiary hospital on nine types of operational indicators, including average length of stay (ALOS), number of discharges, number of outpatient visits, percentage of discharged patients undergoing level III or IV surgery, bed turnover rate, inpatient essential drug utilization rate, low-risk group mortality, outpatient subaverage cost and inpatient subaverage cost.
Heterogeneous Information Networks (HINs) play a crucial role in modeling complex social systems, where predicting missing links/relations is a significant task. Existing methods primarily focus on pairwise relations, but real-world scenarios often involve multi-entity interactions. For example, in academic collaboration networks, an interaction occurs between a paper, a conference, and multiple authors.

However, the coexistence of antibiotics may inhibit nitrogen removal by aquatic macrophytes, and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we systematically investigated the effects of three antibiotics (norfloxacin, NOR; sulfamethoxazole, SMX; and oxytetracycline, OTC) at environmental concentrations (1 μg/L and 1 mg/L) on ammonia (NH-N) and nitrate (NO-N) removal by the aquatic macrophyte Myriophyllum aquaticum.

Here, we perform a comprehensive proteogenomic profiling of CC tumors obtained from 139 Chinese women. Integrated proteogenomic analysis links genetic aberrations to downstream pathogenesis-related pathways and reveals the landscape of HPV-associated multi-omic changes.

Quantitative metaproteomics further enriches this understanding by measuring relative protein abundance and revealing dynamic changes under different conditions. However, the challenge of missing peptide quantification persists in metaproteomics analysis, particularly in data-dependent acquisition mode, where high-intensity precursors for MS2 scans are selected.

A high-quality controllable gene overexpression strain collection was constructed for the industrial workhorse Corynebacterium glutamicum covering 99.7% of its genes.

However, large-scale ILMS data sets typically involve multiple runs of mass spectrometry, bringing great computational difficulty to the integration of ILMS samples. We present zMAP, a toolset that makes ILMS intensities comparable across mass spectrometry runs by modeling the associated mean-variance dependence and accordingly applying a variance stabilizing z-transformation.

Methods: The study gathered data from 15 medical institutions in Ningxia between January and December 2022 using cloud platforms. The dataset included basic information and 72-h ECG monitoring for 2573 hypertensive patients over 65.
The dissolved organic matter (DOM) with high mobility and reactivity plays a crucial role in soil. In this study, the characteristics and phytotoxicity of DOM released from the hydrochars prepared from different feedstocks (cow manure, corn stalk and Myriophyllum aquaticum) under three hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) temperatures (180, 200 and 220°C) were evaluated. The results showed that the hydrochars had high dissolved organic carbon content (20.

Currently, pyrolysis has been widely applied for OS disposal, while low-oil content (<5 wt%) OS still lacks novel technology to achieve efficient resource utilization and harmful substances immobilization. In this study, a kind of OS-based geopolymer was developed by OS and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS).

The Sipros algorithm is used in proteomic SIP to identify variably labeled proteins and quantify their isotopic enrichment levels (atom%) by performing enrichment-resolved database searching.
Results: In this study, Sipros was upgraded to improve the labeled protein identification, isotopic enrichment quantification, and database searching speed.
