Methods: In this study, we conducted a comprehensive proteomic analysis of 90 primary tumors, 15 patient-matched lymph node metastatic tumors, and 15 brain metastatic tumors derived from a cohort of 105 SCLC patients.
Objective: To evaluate postoperative cerebral perfusion changes and their influencing factors in carotid endarterectomy (CEA) patients by integrating multimodal monitoring methods, including cerebral regional oxygen saturation (rSO), carotid ultrasound (CU), computed tomographic angiography (CTA), and computed tomographic perfusion imaging (CTP), with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) assessment.
Methods: We conducted a cohort study on patients with internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis undergoing CEA at our institution. Pre- and postoperative assessments included CU, CTA, CTP, and rSO monitoring.
As emerging contaminants growing threat to aquatic organisms, explore effective mitigation strategies is particularly important. Our previous studies have shown that selenium-rich Bacillus subtilis can not only alleviate the cause of brain damage by perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA) in Carassius auratus via the intestinal axis of the brain, but its metabolites can also alleviate PFHxA toxicity. Considering the interplay between cancer, inflammation, and immunosuppression, we hypothesized that circulating and imaging inflammatory markers could serve as indicators of anti-tumor immune responses, and thus conducting an exploratory study to reveal the predictive value of combining longitudinal systemic inflammatory markers in stratifying pathologic response to neoadjuvant sintilimab.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 36 patients (29 male and seven female) with NSCLC (stage IA-IIIB) who underwent pre- and post-treatment peripheral blood tests and F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) scans before and after two cycles of neoadjuvant sintilimab (registration number: ChiCTR-OIC-17013726).
At present, animal bone glue has been widely used in industry, but there are no relevant research reports on its application in the petroleum industry. In this paper, the rheological properties, inhibition, filtration, and temperature resistance performance of modified bone glue (Mbg) were evaluated in water-based drilling fluids, and the results showed that Mbg can significantly affect the performance of water-based muds with minimal dosage, and temperature resistance of Mbg could reach up to 130 °C. The inhibition mechanism of Mbg in drilling fluids was investigated by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), zeta potential, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscope (SEM).

In this work, we used the Fenton-like reaction method to degrade waste drilling fluids with SiO-supported MnO@FeO composite material as a catalyst in the presence of HO. During the Fenton-like reaction process, the MnO@FeO interface exhibits exceptional activity by facilitating the production of ·OH species with high activity and strong oxidizing properties, which degrade the organic substances in the waste drilling fluids into smaller inorganic molecules, thereby reducing its COD value.
