Craniopharyngiomas (CPs) are uncommon intracranial benign neoplasms that located in sellar/parasellar region with clinically challenging. B7-H3 is an immune checkpoint molecule highly expressed in many malignant tumors. In this study, we analyzed whether B7-H3 is expressed in 44 CPs samples (adamantinomatous CPs: n = 30 and papillary CPs: n = 14), and whether it could serve as an immunotherapy target in CPs.

Methods: The total of 123 perinatal cows were selected for this study and divided into three groups; group A (n = 41, 240mg/ 500 kg cow/day), group B (n = 40, 120mg/ 500 kg cow/day) and group C (n = 42, 0mg/cow/day) based on the quantity of folic acid fed. Three samples of PBLs were selected from each folic acid treated group (High, Low, and Control) and RNA sequencing method was carried out for transcriptomic analysis.
Recently an innovative sulfur conversion-associated enhanced biological phosphorus removal (S-EBPR) process has been developed for treating sulfate-rich wastewater. This process has successfully integrated sulfur (S), carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and P cycles for simultaneous metabolism or removal of C, N and P; moreover this new process relies on the synergy among the slow-growing sulfate-reducing bacteria and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, hence generating little excess sludge. To elucidate this new process, researchers have investigated the microorganisms proliferated in the system, identified the biochemical pathways and assessed the impact of operational and environmental factors on process performance as well as trials on process optimization.

However, little is known about the structural dynamics and storage states of these polymers. In particular, investigating the poly-S generated in this process is quite a superior challenge.

Treatment of mesenchymal stem cells has shown a potential therapeutic option for acute liver failure. However, the lack of random clinical trials and large non-human primate studies makes it necessary to assess the efficacy and safety in the clinic.

The surface morphology, thermal properties, percentage of biodegradation, and molecular weight changes at different incubation times were evaluated via visual inspection, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and gel permeation chromatography (GPC) by taking degraded samples from compost at the end of target biodegradation time interval. The rapid increase of crystallinity indicated that the PLA and PLA/TiO nanocomposites had heterogeneous degradation mechanisms under controlled composting conditions.

Introduction: Chitosan as a natural polysaccharide have been widely applied in biomedicine due to their outstanding biodegradability, non-toxic, and low-price. As carriers, the multi-functional chitosan hydrogels can be prepared by physical and chemical modification to form smart hydrogels to release cargoes. The smart hydrogels can generate sol-gel phase transition while gaining stimulus from the environment including pH, temperature, photo, and so forth.

Owing to the intermolecular hydrogen bond among the stereoisomer chains, the melting point of the special crystallite is up to 200 °C, which is 50 °C higher than the isostatic crystallite. The modulus of the PLA-based materials can be enhanced to several 100 MPa because of the integrated polymer chain arrangement.
