Introduction: The study aimed to evaluate the effect of education given to immigrant mothers on breastfeeding success of mothers.
Method: The randomized-controlled, single-blind study was conducted in a neonatal intensive care unit of a state hospital in Turkey. The Mother-infant information form, Nutrition monitoring form, and LATCH Assessment Tool were used to collect the study data.
Background: This study aimed to investigate the roles of cytokines and other laboratory parameters in determining the need for intensive care in COVID-19 patients.
Methods: This is a retrospective observational study. Demographic, clinical, and laboratory parameters of the patients were evaluated.

In order to prevent infectious complications following endourological procedure of upper urinary tract stones, it is essential to determine which patients are at high risk of developing this complication. We aimed to identify predictors that may cause systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) after the endourological procedure of upper urinary tract stones. Patients who underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL), flexible ureteroscopy (F-URS), or semirigid ureteroscopy (SR-URS) in our center between January 2011 and June 2020 were evaluated retrospectively.

There is a need for affordable and effective adsorbents to remove harmful dyes from industrial waste. In this study, Mandarin biochar-CO-TETA (MBCOT) adsorbent was prepared and used to remove Acid Red 73 (AR73) dye from aqueous solutions.

This study examined the effect of time-restricted feeding on impulsivity in adults.
Methods: Thirty adults aged 25-41 years participated in this randomized controlled trial.
Iron Oxide-commercial activated carbon nanocomposite (CAC-IO) was prepared from commercial activated carbon (CAC) by the co-precipitation method, and the resulting nanocomposite was used as an adsorbent to remove hexavalent chromium (Cr) ions and Mordant Violet 40 (MV40) dye from wastewater. The produced materials (CAC, CAC after oxidation, and CAC-IO) were comparatively characterized using FTIR, BET, SEM, EDX TEM, VSM, and XRD techniques. The adsorption mechanism of Cr ions and MV40 dye on CAC-IO was examined using Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.

In order to design inhibitors, it was aimed to produce molecules similar to the RdRp inhibitor drug Favipiravir by using the deep learning method.
Methods: For this purpose, a Trained Neural Network (TNN) was used to produce 75 molecules similar to Favipiravir by using Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System (SMILES) representations.
The present study aimed to compare long-term outcomes of patients with Medina 0.1.0 left main (LM) bifurcation lesions treated by crossover stenting (COS) versus accurate ostial stenting (AOS).

Methods: The abstracts presented at 13 consecutive annual congresses were obtained. A literature search was conducted with PubMed, Google Scholar, and Web of Science databases to analyze whether the abstract was published in a scientific journal.
In recent years, water pollution has become one of the most dangerous problems facing the world. Pollution of water with heavy metals and different dyes has caused many harmful effects on human health, living organisms and our environment. In this study, iron oxide nanomagnetic composite from Pterocladia Capillacea red algae-derived activated carbon (PCAC-IO) was synthesized by co-precipitation method using different iron salts and different base solutions.

This study sought to determine the clinical results of DKC and MC stenting techniques in mid-term follow-up. This retrospective study included a total of 269 consecutive patients with complex bifurcation lesions who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention; 132 (49%) of them were treated with MC technique, whereas 137 (51%) treated with DKC technique.

Methods: Individuals scheduled for unilateral TKA were randomized to one of two groups: control (traditional rehabilitation, n = 9) and GMI (traditional rehabilitation + GMI, n = 9) groups. The primary outcome measures were the visual analogue scale and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC).
Background: Patients with intermediate-high risk pulmonary embolism (PE) who have acute right ventricular dysfunction and myocardial injury without overt hemodynamic compromise may be candidates for thrombolytic therapy (TT). In this study, we aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of low-dose prolonged TT and unfractionated heparin (UFH) in intermediate-high risk PE patients.
Methods: This study enrolled 83 (female: 45 [54.
Objectives: As an effective and minimally invasive technique, ureteroscopy has some potential intraoperative complications. Ureteral avulsion is among these complications, although rare. This study aimed to determine factors predicting nephrectomy by considering ureteral avulsion from a medicolegal perspective for the 1st time in the literature.

The aim of this study is to assess the effect of the TOCA in patients presenting with NSTEMI.
Methods: This multicenter observational study was retrospectively conducted between 2015 and 2019.
(1) Background: The aim of this study was to produce in-house ELISAs which can be used to determine SARS-CoV-2-specific antibody levels directed against the spike protein (S), the S1 subunit of S and the receptor binding domain (RBD) of S in SARS-CoV-2 vaccinated and infected humans. (2) Methods: Three in-house ELISAs were developed by using recombinant proteins of SARS-CoV-2, namely the S, S1 and RBD proteins. Specificity and sensitivity evaluations of these tests were performed using sera from SARS-CoV-2-infected ( = 70) and SARS-CoV-2-vaccinated ( = 222; CoronaVac vaccine) humans in Istanbul, Turkey.

Hybrid PET/MRI allows simultaneous acquisition of PET and MRI data, thus combining the strength of both technologies allows the detection of bone marrow metastases that are missed by PET/CT. In this retrospective study, we aimed to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of hybrid PET/MRI with Ga-68 prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) in detecting skeletal metastases in newly diagnosed PCa patients and compared the effectiveness of stand-alone PSMA PET reviewing versus stand-alone whole-body (WB) MRI evaluation.
