Objectives: This study aims to compare the osteogenic effects of implanting demineralized dentin matrix and acellular dentin matrix in bone defect areas.
Methods: Demineralized dentin matrix and acellular dentin matrix were prepared. Twenty-four male SPF-grade SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: demineralized group (group A), acelluar group (group B), Bio-Oss bone powder group (group C), and blank control group (group D), with six rats in each group.
Purpose: To explore the percentage of residual support height (Ph) and the percentage of residual root surface area (Ps) in evaluating periodontal support ability by simulating different stages of periodontitis based on the curved surface modeling.
Methods: Fifteen cone-beam CT (CBCT) images including 420 teeth in total were collected. The data were reconstructed into 3-dimensional teeth models by Mimics software.
Background And Aims: This study was designed to explore the relationship between periodontitis and diabetes mellitus (DM) in Uygur adults from Xinjiang.
Methods And Results: Data were obtained using questionnaire and oral examination. Participants (48.
