Purpose: Violence against women is a common public health problem and causes negative mental health outcomes. Mind-body therapies aim to positively affect a person's mental health by focusing on the interaction between mind, body, and behavior. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effect of mind-body therapies on women's mental health.

Turkish psychometric characteristics of the humanistic practice ability of nursing scale: differences by education, working year, and professional satisfaction.

Background: Humanistic nursing practices scientifically improve the knowledge structure of nursing, enrich its theoretical system and support its development. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the humanistic practice abilities of nurses.

Design And Method: This descriptive study was conducted with 100 patients in remission who had a diagnosis of schizophrenia at community mental health centers.

Objective: The postpartum period is a process that affects mothers and fathers mentally. In this systematic review, we aimed to investigate the literature on postpartum depression and elucidate the factors associated with depression in fathers/men; and eventually to draw attention to the subject.

Methods: A literature search was conducted between April-May 2019 including qualitative and quantitative research articles published between 2009-2019 in Pubmed, Science Direct, EBSCOhost, Turkish Psychiatric Index and Ulakbim Medical Databases.

Effects of activity groups, in which art activities are used, on resilience and related factors in families with disabled children.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effects of activity groups using art activities on resilience and related factors in mothers with disabled children.

Design And Methods: This randomized controlled experimental design study was conducted with 33 mothers (18 in the control and 15 in the intervention group).

Findings: A statistically significant difference was found between the intervention group's pretest and posttest mean scores on the Resilience Scale for Adults, the Satisfaction with Life Scale, Zarit Burden Interview, and 12-item General Health Questionnaire scales.

The development of an anxiety assessment scale for pregnant women in labor.

Objectives: To develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to determine the anxiety level of pregnant women in labor. Methods: This study is a methodological research for developing an Anxiety Assessment Scale for Pregnant Women in Labor (AASPWL) and descriptive research for determining the anxiety level of pregnant women in labor. This study included a total of 269 pregnant women from the delivery room of a training and research hospital between November 2016 and July 2017.
