Background: Ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR) is associated with high mortality and poor outcomes. The surgical management of moderate IMR is still an object of debate.
Methods: Patients with moderate IMR who underwent isolated off-pump coronary bypass grafting (OPCAB) with facile stabilization between January 2015 and February 2022 were analyzed.
Background: We aimed to determine the usability of ranolazine (Rn) as a neuroprotective during cardiac surgeries and carotid artery interventions where cerebral blood flow is interrupted.
Methods: Female Wistar albino rats were used. The rats were divided into 4 groups of 8 rats each.
