- Early discharge strategies are becoming common after cardiac interventions, but there's limited data on same-day discharge after transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVRep) procedures.
- In this study, 82 patients who had the MitraClip procedure were discharged on the same day, provided they had no complications and stable conditions, with follow-up scheduled for the next day.
- Results showed that most patients experienced improved mitral regurgitation, and no major complications arose from the same-day discharge, indicating it can be safely done in selected cases, although more research is needed.

Methods: CBCT images from 433 subjects aged 8 to 31 years were included in this study. The right and left condyle cortication were assessed on the sagittal plane separately for each individual by the same investigator via a new method that describes the cortication of the condyle.
