Introduction: The aim of this study is to investigate a possible association between vitamin D deficiency and diabetic peripheral neuropathy in pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
Materials-methods: Twenty-nine patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and 19 healthy controls were included to the study. All individuals were evaluated for diabetic peripheral neuropathy with nerve conduction studies.

Objective: Monogenic diabetes is a heterogeneous disease that causes functional problems in pancreatic beta cells and hyperglycemia. The aim of this study was to determine the clinical and laboratory features, the admission characteristics and distribution of monogenic form of diabetes in childhood in Turkey.
