Objective: To determine the predictive factors for severity in prostaglandin-associated periorbitopathy (PAP) using an objective grading system.

Methods: The study included patients diagnosed with glaucoma or ocular hypertension who had used a topical prostaglandin analog (PGA) unilaterally for at least three months. Clinical characteristics and PAP signs were compared based on the types of PGAs used.

Method: A total of 132 eyes of 66 patients with GO and 108 eyes of 54 healthy subjects were enrolled. Eyes with GO were classified as high score clinical activity score (CAS, ≥ 3) (Group 1, n = 64) and low CAS score (< 3) (Group 2, n = 68).

Ophthalmic Abnormalities among Children Treated with Cochlear Implants.

Materials And Methods: A total of 51 children (29 boys, 22 girls) who were under 18 years old, presented previously with severe to profound hearing loss, and underwent cochlear implantation surgery were included in this study prospectively. Surgical management of spontaneous in-the-bag intraocular lens and capsular tension ring complex dislocation.

We describe a technique to manage late spontaneous intraocular lens (IOL) and capsular tension ring (CTR) dislocation within the intact capsular bag. The subluxated IOL and CTR complex can be positioned in a closed chamber and fixed to the pars plana at both 3 and 9 o'clock quadrants with the presented ab externo direct scleral suturation technique which provides an easy, safe and effective surgical option for such cases.
