Case Presentation: We report a case of 56 years old, stage IIB and grade III invasive ductal cell carcinoma MBC (Lt) patient, operated for left modified radical mastectomy with axillary clearance followed by six cycles of chemotherapy during October 2010-January 2011.
Ovarian cancer patients with BRCA1 mutation have more susceptibility for secondary breast cancer. In females with BRCA1 mutation, the risk of developing breast carcinoma is 65% and of ovarian cancer is 39%, before 70 years of age. This is a case report of a 74 year old, post-menopausal woman diagnosed with metastatic retroperitoneal lymph node, high-grade papillary adenocarcinoma primary ovary stage IIIA in April 2004 at the age of 48 years.

Case Presentation: A chronic tobacco-betel nut chewer 62-year-old male patient had dysphagia with hoarseness of voice diagnosed with stage III, grade II malignant pyriform fossa. The patient underwent 9 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with Inj Paclitaxel 100 mg and Inj Cisplatin 40 mg.
CD38, a multifunctional enzyme involved in NAD+ catabolism, is hypothesized to act as a metabolic checkpoint for antitumor CD8 T cells. A recent study discovered that, apart from its direct metabolic mechanisms, CD38-mediated RyR2-AKT-TCF1 signaling regulates responsiveness to anti-PD1 cancer therapy at the molecular level. These findings advocate multiprong CD38 targeting to overcome resistance to immune checkpoint blockade therapy.

The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of identifying the language network from resting-state-fMRI independent component analysis (ICA) maps.
Materials And Methods: Through retrospective analysis, patients who underwent both resting-state-fMRI and task-fMRI were compared by identifying the language network from the resting-state-fMRI data by 3 reviewers.
In Corynebacterium glutamicum the protein kinase PknG phosphorylates OdhI and thereby abolishes the inhibition of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase activity by unphosphorylated OdhI. Our previous studies suggested that PknG activity is controlled by the periplasmic binding protein GlnH and the transmembrane protein GlnX, because Δ and Δ mutants showed a growth defect on glutamine similar to that of a Δ mutant. We have now confirmed the involvement of GlnH and GlnX in the control of OdhI phosphorylation by analyzing the OdhI phosphorylation status and glutamate secretion in Δ and Δ mutants and by characterizing Δ suppressor mutants.

Our multi-scale spatial attention operates on graph-based features extracted from the connectivity matrices, thus honing in on the inter-regional interactions that collectively define the eloquent cortex. At the same time, our temporal attention model selects the intervals during which these interactions are most pronounced.
