DNA hydrogels have been demonstrated with the advantages of good stability, easy modification, and extraordinary biocompatibility, which enables their great application prospects in biosensing, tissue engineering, and biomedicine. Based on the host-guest recognition properties of cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]), we proposed a general method for constructing functional supramolecular DNA nanogels. Guest molecules have been conjugated into the DNA building units, which could be further crosslinked with CB[8] to construct supramolecular DNA nanogels.

A regio- and stereoselective stepwise (4+2) annulation of N-propargylamides and α,β-unsaturated imines/ketones has been accomplished with synergetic catalysis by a combination of a gold-complex and a chiral quinine-derived squaramide (QN-SQA), leading to highly functionalized chiral tetrahydropyridines/dihydropyrans in good to high yields with generally excellent enantioselectivity. Mechanistic studies and DFT calculations indicate that the in situ formed alkylgold species is the key intermediate in this transformation, and the amide group served as a traceless directing group in this highly selective transformation. This method complements the enantioselective (4+2) annulation of allene reagents, providing the formal internal C-C π-bond cycloaddition products, which is challenging and remains elusive.

Article Synopsis
  • The extracellular matrix (ECM) significantly influences cell behavior, especially during tissue development and wound healing due to its changing mechanical strength.
  • A new strategy for creating hydrogels with gradually increasing mechanical strength is introduced, allowing them to retain properties like self-healing and shear-thinning.
  • This approach enables researchers to investigate how the gradual stiffening of ECM affects cell behavior over time.

Recently, a frame guided assembly (FGA) has been demonstrated as a robust tool to prepare liposomes with customized morphologies. However, the potential application of FGA liposomes in delivering nucleic acid drugs is still limited by the low payload. In this study, by systemically investigating the correlation between the leading hydrophobic group (LHG) density and the initial detergent concentration, it has been demonstrated that frames with a low LHG density, which may facilitate the increase of the load of the nucleic acid drug, could be guided to form liposomes at low initial detergent concentrations.

The purpose of this study is to compare the physicochemical properties and volatile flavor compounds of rose tea obtained by the methods of normal temperature drying, hot-air drying (HAD), and vacuum freeze-drying (VFD) and to evaluate the quality of rose tea. The physicochemical results showed that the content of ascorbic acid (VC) and the pH value was the highest in rose tea obtained by HAD. The contents of anthocyanin, proanthocyanidins, and total phenols were highest in rose tea obtained by VFD.

TO explore the changes of rhizosphere soil bacterial community of Rosa rugosa "Fenghua", Rosa rugosa cv. Plena and Rosa rugosa "Zizhi" in different seasons, the Illumina Miseq sequencing and the correlation network analysis of dominant flora was used. The results showed that the bacterial communities were mainly composed of Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Actinobacteria, with Sphingomonas, GP6, GP4, Novosphingobium, Wps-1_genera_incertae_sedis, and Massilia as the dominant genera.

An unprecedented catalytic asymmetric allylation of isatins and isatin-derived ketimines is reported enabled by a gold and chiral organocatalyst cooperative catalysis strategy. This method offers expeditious access to chiral 2,5-disubsituted alkylideneoxazolines containing vicinal stereogenic centers, mainly in optically pure form, and which are otherwise impossible to access. Mechanistic evidence reveals the presence of an alkylgold intermediate, and an X-ray crystal structure of the allylgold species illuminates its unique stability and reactivity.

An efficient and novel rhodium-catalyzed formal C-O insertion reaction of alkyne-tethered diazo compounds for the synthesis of 3 H-indol-3-ols is described. A type of donor/donor rhodium carbene generated in situ via a carbene/alkyne metathesis (CAM) process is the key intermediate and terminates in a unique transformation different from donor/acceptor carbenoids. In addition, O-labeling experiments indicate that intramolecular oxygen-atom transfer from the amide group to the carbon-carbon triple bond occurs during this transformation.

Benzoxazines bearing a C4-quaternary stereocenter have been accomplished via the rhodium-catalyzed electrophilic trapping of zwitterionic intermediates by isatins and imines, respectively. The key intermediates of the strategy are proposed to generate from the reaction of donor-acceptor rhodium carbenes with secondary amides. Usage of chiral BINOL-phosphoric acid co-catalyst resulted in enrichment of enantioselectivity in the trapping process with imines.

To observe the radiotherapy sensitization effect of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis in patients by sodium glycididazole in recent clinical efficacy and toxicity. A total of 42 patients admitted with metastasis and recurrence of retroperitoneal lymph node from September 2006 to December 2009 were classified with the method of case-control. After three dimensional conformal radiation therapy with or without sodium glycididazole (800 mg/m²) for sensitization, the results of recent clinical efficacy, relief of pain, and Karnofsky score were obtained.

Objective: To compare the clinical therapeutic effects between ozone and triamcinolone acetonide for the treatment of mild meniscal injury.

Methods: From January 2008 to December 2012, 119 patients with meniscal injury diagnosed as type I or II by MRI were divided into three groups. In the triamcinolone acetonide (A) group, there were 38 males and 2 females, with an average age of (25.

The triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), with a particularly poor prognosis, is increasingly recognized as heterogeneous in molecular signatures. MicroRNA expression profiles have been used for the classification and prognostication of breast cancer, numerous significantly upregulated microRNAs, i.e.
