Purpose: The paper aims to investigate the factors influencing cancer-related fatigue (CRF) in lung cancer patients and construct a CRF risk prediction model, providing effective intervention strategies for clinical medical staff.
Methods: This paper employs convenience sampling to select 400 lung cancer patients who visited a tertiary hospital in Dazhou, Sichuan Province, from January 2021 to January 2022. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale (PFS-R), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) to collect data on patient demographics and sociological characteristics, disease-related information, physiological indicators, sleep quality, mental health, and other relevant factors.
Reliable, non-invasive, continuous monitoring of pulse and blood pressure is essential for the prevention and diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. However, the pulse wave varies drastically among individuals or even over time in the same individual, presenting significant challenges for the existing pulse sensing systems. Inspired by pulse diagnosis methods in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), this work reports a self-adaptive pressure sensing platform (PSP) that combines the fully printed flexible pressure sensor array with an adaptive wristband-style pressure system can identify the optimal pulse signal.

In response to the prevailing challenges associated with the limited integration and sensitivity of flexible tactile sensors, this paper introduces a versatile tactile sensing system capable of concurrently monitoring temperature and pressure. The temperature sensor employs carbon nanotube/graphene conductive paste as its sensitive material, while the pressure sensor integrates an ionic gel containing boron nitride as its sensitive layer.

Epidermal sensing arrays can enable the sensing of physiological information, pressure, and other information such as haptics, providing new avenues for the development of wearable devices. This paper reviews the recent research progress on epidermal flexible pressure sensing arrays.

Due to the difficulty of fabricating the nanostructures that are commonly used on electrodes and ionic layers by screen printing techniques, strategies for fabricating such devices using these techniques to drive their mass production have rarely been reported. Herein, for the first time, we employed a 2-dimensional (2D) hexagonal boron nitride (-BN) as both an additive and an ionic liquid reservoir in an ionic film, making the sensor printable and significantly improving its sensitivity and sensing range through screen printing.

HMEs are mainly related to the content of heavy metal ions in diesel fuel. Therefore, in order to reduce HMEs from diesel engines, a nano-fiber membrane filtration technology for diesel fuel was investigated.

Methods: One hundred and sixty-three patients were randomly divided into a control and experimental groups. The control group received routine care, and the experimental group received VIP future care.
Glomalin-related soil protein (GRSP), a microbial product that can be used as a bioflocculant, is critical to metal sequestration in the ecosystem. However, the relationship between GRSP and heavy metal has not been well explored. In this study, the adsorption behaviors and mechanisms of Pb(II) and Zn(II) ions on GRSP were investigated.

Electrospinning is a kind of nanotechnology, and the nanofiber membrane prepared by it has the advantages of large surface area-to-volume ratios, nano- to micron-sized fibers, etc. Herein, a simple and facile one-step green electrospinning method was developed to fabricate various environmentally friendly PVA nanofiber membranes.

With the imbalance in mentality brought about by high population density and social transformation, the work of the Chinese police is particularly hard. As the window of demographic dividend is closing and the number of newborns is insufficient, China has started to adjust its established fertility policy to encourage a family to have two children.

Female C57BL/6 mice were fed on high-fat diet (HFD), HFD+LA, HFD+R, HFD+Q and normal diet for 26weeks. Body weight, blood pressure, thyroid hormones, oxidative stress markers, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and ion pump activities were measured, and expression of cardiac genes was analyzed by real-time polymerase chain reaction.

Mangrove wetlands serve as both a sink and source for arsenic (As), as mangrove plants are able to uptake and accumulate As. The present study used pot experiments to evaluate As accumulation and translocation in mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum L.) seedlings grown in As contaminated soils.

This study was undertaken to investigate plasma dityrosine concentrations in patients with hyperlipidemia and to examine the correlation between dityrosine and lipid profiles.
Methods: Fluorescence spectrophotometry was used to measure dityrosine in the plasma of healthy subjects (n = 203) and dyslipidemic subjects, which included patients with mild hyperlipidemia (n = 246) and hyperlipidemia (n = 179).
Objective: To explore serum redox status differences among different types of dyslipidemia patients.
Method: One hundred and nineteen healthy people and two hundred and ninety four dyslipidemic participants on clinical examination were divided into six groups: control group, hypercholesterolemia (HTC), hypertriglyceridemia (HTG), combined hyperlipidemia (CH), low level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LHDL) and hyperlipidemia with LHDL (HBL + LHDL) according to blood lipid profiles. Malonaldehyde (MDA), total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP) and dityrosine (DT) in serum were measured.
Consumption of high-fat diet (HFD) is related with increased oxidative stress and dysfunctional mitochondria in many organs. The effects of resveratrol (trans-3,5,4'-trihydroxystilbene) that can protect T lymphocytes in various disease conditions on the HFD-induced apoptosis of CD4(+) CD25(+) CD127(low/-) regulatory T cells (Tregs) were studied, and the possible mechanism was postulated. Resveratrol significantly decreased Tregs death induced by 20-wk HFD, being associated with the reduction of reactive oxygen species production and the alleviation of HFD-induced loss of mitochondrial membrane potential (Δψm) in Tregs.
