RNA methylation and the machinery that regulates or "reads" its expression has recently been implicated in the pathogenesis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other hematologic malignancies. Modulation of these epigenetic marks has started to become a reality as several companies around the world seek to leverage this knowledge therapeutically in the clinic. Although the bases of observed activity in AML have been described by numerous groups, the exact context in which these therapies will ultimately be used remains to be properly determined.

Managing Cluster Headache in Patients with Medical, Psychiatric, and Surgical Comorbidities.

Purpose Of Review: What should a provider know about medications and other treatments in patients with cluster headache who have medical, psychiatric, and surgical comorbidities? What conversations should providers have with patients about living with and managing cluster headache?

Recent Findings: While the number of treatments used in cluster headache is relatively small, numerous considerations were identified related to managing patients with comorbidities. Many of these touch on cardiac, cardiovascular, and cerebrovascular health, but full histories are needed to guide safe and effective treatment. Both older and newer treatments may be contraindicated in certain patients with cluster headache or should be considered carefully.

New trends of drug abuse in custodial settings: A systematic review on the misuse of over-the-counter drugs, prescription-only-medications, and new psychoactive substances.

The article presents a systematic literature review on the use and the psychiatric implications of over-the-counter drugs (OTC), prescription-only-medications (POM), and new psychoactive substances (NPS) within custodial settings. The searches wer carried out on 2 November 2022 on PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science in line with PRISMA guidelines. A total of 538 records were identified, of which 37 met the inclusion criteria.

Background And Objectives: Headache is an adverse event associated with the use of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Recently, migraine has emerged more specifically as a potential adverse event with PPI use. The objectives of this work were to capitalize on existing data to evaluate the association between migraine and severe headache prevalence and use of acid-suppression therapy, including PPIs, H2 receptor antagonists (H2RAs), and generic antacids; to compare risk from PPIs vs H2RAs; and to assess for potential mitigation by a dietary factor affected by acid-suppression therapy.
