Management of Zygomatic Fixture Complication Case Using Extra-Short Implants.

The oral rehabilitation of a patient with atrophic maxilla is one of the main challenges in implant-supported rehabilitations. The implant placement in the posterior region of the maxilla is limited by a deficiency of bone quantity and quality, besides the anatomic restriction of the maxillary sinus. The use of zygoma fixtures, anchoraged in the zygomatic bone, is a useful technique to enable the full arch rehabilitation.
