Article Synopsis
  • Ovarian yolk sac tumors (YSTs) are rare tumors, and a study analyzed CT imaging findings of 11 YSTs compared to 18 other ovarian tumors.
  • The study found no significant differences in patient age, tumor size, shape, ascites, or metastasis between the two groups (P > 0.05).
  • However, YSTs showed significant differences in features like mixed solid-cystic nature, intratumoral hemorrhage, marked enhancement, and dilated intratumoral vessels (P < 0.05), with intratumoral hemorrhage and marked enhancement identified as independent signs of YST.
