Aim: This study aimed to examine the relationship between nursing students' perception of respectful maternal care and their professional values.
Design: A descriptive and correlation design was used.
Method: The sample were 323 nursing students in the third and fourth year of training.
Background: The timing of coronary angiography in patients with successfully resuscitated out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and missing ST-segment elevations on the electrocardiogram has been investigated in 2 large randomized controlled trials, TOMAHAWK (Angiography After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Without ST-Segment Elevation) and COACT (Coronary Angiography After Cardiac Arrest Trial). Both trials found neutral results for immediate vs delayed/selective coronary angiography on short-term all-cause mortality. The TOMAHAWK trial showed a tendency towards harm with immediate coronary angiography, though not statistically significant with traditional frequentist methods.

Methods: The study group consisted of 70 patients and the control group consisted of 50 patients. Venous blood samples were analyzed for relevant GPs via kompetitive allele-specific polymerase chain reaction.
Objective: The study investigates long-term outcomes of unselected inpatients undergoing invasive coronary angiography (CA) with and without diabetes mellitus type II (T2DM).
Background: Due to continual shifts in demographics and advancements in treating cardiovascular disease, there has been a notable evolution in the types of patients undergoing CA over the past decades. Comprehensive data on the extended outcomes of CA patients, both with and without concurrent T2DM, remains scarce.

Primary adrenal insufficiency (PAI) is a critical condition that requires prompt diagnosis and initiation of treatment. Diagnosis can be challenging due to various underlying causes, including defects in adrenal gland development, resistance to adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), autoimmune causes, and metabolic problems. A specific diagnosis is essential for developing a treatment plan and identifying other possible accompanying pathologies.

Design And Methods: This study was conducted with pediatric patients aged 4-6 years who were hospitalized in the pediatrics department of a teaching and research hospital in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. The study was completed with 90 children, allocated to the toys made of medical materials group (45) and the control group (45).

Background/objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate the factors influencing adherence with tuberculosis medication therapy. Non-adherence can result in treatment failure, ongoing infectiousness, and the development of drug resistance. Therefore, understanding the reasons behind non-adherence is crucial for achieving the World Health Organization's target of 90% treatment success.

The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index has been linked to an increased risk of cardiometabolic disorders. Whether patients with non-functioning adrenal incidentaloma (NFAI) or cortisol-secreting adrenal incidentaloma (CSAI) have altered TyG index is unknown.

Background: Healthcare demand procrastination is a public health concern in Türkiye, with limited research available. This study examines the prevalence of healthcare procrastination and identifies associated factors among patients at Pamukkale University Hospital.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted from 2 to 13 February 2023 in Denizli and involved 503 patients from 15 outpatient clinics.
Purpose: To evaluate the effect of depth and location of femoral osteoplasty or the use of remplissage on the suction seal in a sheep hip model.
Methods: The hips of 32 twelve-month-old sheep were used as a cam-type femoroacetabular impingement model. The subjects were divided into 4 groups, each undergoing a distinct surgical procedure: group I underwent a 5% cam resection at the head/neck junction, group II had a 10% cam resection at the head/neck junction, group III received a 5% cam resection from 5 mm proximal to the head/neck junction, and group IV underwent remplissage to replace the loss of the suction seal with an extensor tendon graft in the defected area after a 10% cam resection at the head-neck junction.
Staffing levels, fatigue, and intervention timing may vary based on working hours and potentially influence the clinical outcomes of newborns. It remains unclear how the birth time of premature infants throughout the day affects their clinical outcome. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of premature infants born during and after work hours.

Our study aims to assess the prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with acute pancreatitis using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) and hand dynamometry while also investigating its impact on acute pancreatitis.

In addition, ECRG4 participate in modulation of ion channel function and electrical activity of cardiomyocytes. However, the exact mechanism is unknown.

Background: Mastocytosis is characterized by expanding neoplastic mast cells in organs such as the skin, bone marrow, and gastrointestinal tract. The release of mast cell mediators triggers cutaneous, gastrointestinal, and other symptoms. Currently, no validated mastocytosis-specific patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) exists to assess disease control.

Background: Although dyskalemias represent a common complication in patients with heart failure (HF) and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), data concerning the prevalence and prognostic impact of dyskalemias in HFmrEF is limited.
Methods: Consecutive patients with HFmrEF were retrospectively included at one institution from 2016 to 2022.
Objectives: This study aimed to identify the cyclical "on-off" flow of pulmonary microcirculation during inspiration and expiration by sidestream dark field imaging (SDF) technology in vivo and investigate the effects of volume status and driving pressure on cyclical "on-off" flow of microcirculation.
Methods: 24 ARDS-modeled rabbits were randomly divided into high-driving pressure group (HDP group) and low-driving pressure group (LDP group). Lung microcirculation measurements were performed using the SDF microscope at two timepoints (T1 CVP 2-4 mmHg, T2 CVP 8-10 mmHg).
Background: There is limited data regarding the influence of lung compliance on the outcome of patients with cardiogenic shock (CS). Thus, a registry study was conducted to assess the prognostic influence of lung compliance in invasively ventilated patients with CS.
Methods: Hospital records for consecutive invasively ventilated CS-patients from June 2019 to May 2021 were collected into a prospective registry.
