This study aims forward to explain the effect of freight transportation on environmental pollution and to investigate the role played by the usage rates of road and railway transportation modes in this relationship. As an auxiliary problem of the research, it was tried to determine whether there is a threshold value for these types of transportation and what consequences will arise in terms of environmental pollution below and above this threshold. For this purpose, the data of OECD countries for the period 2000-2018 were analyzed with the PSTR method.

The granola samples were sweetened with agave syrup (A), honey (H), and stevia (S) and produced using conventional oven (1) and microwave (2) baking techniques at temperatures of 160°C and 300 W, respectively. Among the samples, H1 exhibited the highest total sugar content (26.

Objective: To comprehensively evaluate prolactinoma patients undergoing surgical and medical treatments at our pituitary center.
Methods: Retrospective review of mMedical records from prolactinoma patients treated between 2015 and 2022 was performedwere retrospectively reviewed.
Background: To our knowledge, a possible predictive relationship of the multi-inflammatory index (MII) with new-onset atrial fibrillation (AF) after off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) has not yet been studied in the literature.
Aims: We aimed to investigate whether the MII is a novel group of hematological markers for predicting postoperative new-onset AF in patients undergoing off-pump CABG.
Methods: A total of 427 patients undergoing isolated off-pump CABG between October 2021 and December 2023 were enrolled in this retrospective observational cohort study and allocated to two groups: the AF group (n = 108) and the non-AF group (n = 319).
We report complete coding sequences of Orthohantavirus dobravaense (Dobrava virus) Igneada strains and phylogenetic characterization of all available complete coding sequences. Our analyses suggested separation of host-dependent lineages, followed by geographic clustering. Surveillance of orthohantaviruses using complete genomes would be useful for assessing public health threats from Dobrava virus.

The physicochemical parameters (pH, Eh7, titratable acidity), sensory properties (color), and minerals (ICP-MS), as well as amino acid (UPLC-ESI-MS/MS), sugar (HPLC-RID), and aroma (SPME-GC/MS) profiles, of four varieties of rice and their milk and waste were examined using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Results showed that the profile of minerals, sugars, amino acids, and aroma was affected by the use of HRW.

It is essential for pediatric nurses to be well-versed in the FCC approach and related practices. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of nurse training on nurses' attitudes towards FCC and on nurses' clinical practices related to FCC.

Objective: There is no study in the literature evaluating the dynamic thiol/disulfide homeostasis in patients with chronic venous insufficiency. Thus, we designed this study to evaluate the dynamic thiol/disulfide homeostasis as a novel indicator of oxidative stress in patients with chronic venous insufficiency.
Methods: This was a prospective case-control study performed at the department of cardiovascular surgery of a tertiary referral hospital in Turkey.
Objective: Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer type in women and may be inherited, mostly in an autosomal dominant pattern. The clinical diagnosis of BC relies on the published diagnostic criteria, and analysis of two genes, and , which are strongly associated with BC, are included in these criteria. The aim of this study was to compare BC index cases with non-BC individuals in terms of genotype and diagnostic features to investigate the genotype/demographic information association.

Methods: A total of 227 adult patients who underwent CABG at our hospital between December 2021 and June 2022 were prospectively studied. Total amount of chest tube drainage was evaluated within the first 24 hours postoperatively or until the patient was re-explored for bleeding.
Aim: To define the substantial role of the TLR4 signaling pathway in the MyD88-dependent pathway, and to evaluate the results of TLR4 activation in nucleus pulposus cells. Moreover, we aim to associate this pathway with intervertebral disc degeneration and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings. Additionally, the clinical differences among patients and the effects of their drug use will be evaluated.

Methods: The medical files of the 45 prolactinoma patients who underwent ETSS between 2015 and 2022 were retrospectively reviewed. Relevant demographic and clinical data were obtained.
Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of the "Evidence-Based Pain Assessment Protocol in Pediatric Emergency Department" on nurses' knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards pain.
Method: A pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study was conducted with 11 nurses. Before the protocol was applied, 337 nurses' records were assessed for one month.
Aim: To elucidate the role of the TIR-domain-containing adaptor-inducing interferon-? (TRIF) dependent pathway in intervertebral disc degeneration (IVD).
Material And Methods: A total of adult male patients with low back pain (LBP) (+/- radicular pain) were further evaluated by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with surgical indication for microscopic lumbar disc herniation (LDH). Preoperatively, patients were classified according to Modic Changes (MC), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) use, and the presence of radicular pain in addition to the LBP.
Background: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is characterized by maladaptation of pulmonary vasculature which is leading to right ventricular hypertrophy and heart failure. miRNAs play a crucial role in the regulation of many diseases such as viral infection, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and pulmonary hypertension (PH). In this study, we aimed to investigate the expression pattern of eight human plasma miRNAs (hsa-miR-21-3p, hsa-miR-143- 3p, hsa-miR-138-5p, hsa-miR-145-3p, hsa-miR-190a, hsa-miR-204-3p, hsamiR-206, hsa-miR-210-3p) in mild-to-severe PH patients and healthy controls.

Recent deep learning-based approaches demonstrated the classification of objects using diffuser-distorted patterns collected by an image sensor. These methods demand relatively large-scale computing using deep neural networks running on digital computers.

Plastic bag bioreactors are single-use bioreactors, frequently used in solid culture fermentation. This study developed plastic bag bioreactors with more effective aeration conditions and particular connection elements that yield sensors, environmental control, and modular connectivity. This bioreactor system integrates the bags in a chain that circulates air and moisture through filtered connections.
