Context: In shoulder rehabilitation, exercises that reduce upper trapezius (UT) activity and optimize the trapezius muscle activation rate reduce the symptoms of shoulder pathologies. One such exercise, the lawn-mower (LM) exercise, is frequently used in scapular rehabilitation protocols due to its multijoint, multiplanar, and kinetic chain-based nature. Design/Objective: This study aimed to compare trapezius muscle activation levels and ratios during the LM exercise in standing and quadruped positions through a randomized controlled trial.

For the purpose of accomplishing this objective, a total of 12 specimens were constructed and then subjected to a series of tests to investigate their bending behavior. The samples were constructed with the following dimensions: 1000 mm length and a 100 mm by 150 mm cross-sectional area.

It was recently stated that the lower extremity and trunk movements should be included in the shoulder rehabilitation programs to optimize an effective energy transfer throughout the kinetic chain.
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of kinetic chain based BPA exercise on the muscle activations of the sternocleidomasteideous (SCM) and the trapezius muscles in individuals with and without forward head posture (FHP).
Introduction: Recently, dual trigger was proposed in an attempt to improve in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle outcomes in poor and normo-responder patients (PR and NR, respectively). The study's aim was to compare cycle outcomes of dual trigger versus human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) trigger in NRs and POSEIDON group 3/4 (PG 3/4) PRs.
Material And Methods: A prospective randomized controlled trial included PG 3/4 PRs and NRs undergoing IVF using a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist protocol.
Introduction: Amniocentesis (AC) is the most used interventional procedure for prenatal diagnosis. The study aims to evaluate the pregnancy outcomes undergoing AC and the potential of amnion progesterone receptor (aPR) to alfa fetoprotein (AFP) rate for predicting the probability of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Material And Methods: This prospective cross-sectional study population consisted of 85 pregnant women who underwent mid-trimester AC.

Material And Methods: Twenty children and twenty adult patients underwent MicroPNL were evaluated prospective consecutively, between June 2016 and December 2017,who were not suitable for retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS).Demographic data, stone free rates, length of hospitalization, duration of the operation, fluoroscopy time, transfusion rates, requirement of double J (D-J) catheter implantation and complications were examined.
Objectives: Pituitary diseases may cause psychiatric and personality alterations. We aimed to compare the personality traits of acromegalic patients with those of patients with non-functioning pituitary adenomas and a healthy control group.
Design: Fifty-eight acromegalic patients, 45 patients with non-functioning adenoma, and 40 healthy subjects were enrolled in the study.
Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome display increased levels of anti-Müllerian hormone. Frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) prevents ovarian hyperstimulation and results in better pregnancy outcome in PCOS patients. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the effect of serum AMH levels on the pregnancy outcome of FET cycles in PCOS patients.

Design: This was a retrospective analysis of intracytoplasmic sperm injection and preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies cycles among patients enrolled at Bahceci Fulya IVF Center between January 2016 and August 2019. A total of 133 patients in POSEIDON group 1 (suboptimal responder; female age <35 years, antral follicle count [AFC] ≥5, number of oocytes retrieved <10) (group A), 133 patients in POSEIDON group 3 (expected low responder; female age <35 years, AFC <5) (group B) and 323 in the non-low-prognosis group (female age <35 years, AFC ≥5 and number of oocytes retrieved >9) (group C) were included.
Results: There was no significant difference in euploidy rate per embryo among the three groups (61.

Purpose: To evaluate the factors that affect the incidence of euploid balanced embryos and interchromosomal effect (ICE) in carriers of different structural rearrangements.
Methods: This retrospective study includes 95 couples with reciprocal translocations (RecT) and 36 couples with Robertsonian translocations (RobT) undergoing Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Structural Rearrangements (PGT-SR) between March 2016 and July 2019. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was the technique used coupled with trophectoderm (TE) biopsy.
Purpose: To investigate whether there is any detrimental effect of progesterone elevation (PE) on the day of oocyte maturation induction on embryological development potentials.
Methods: This retrospective single-center cohort study included a total of 1485 individual intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles between January 2014 and December 2018. Serum progesterone (P) levels were measured on the day of oocyte maturation induction following the GnRH antagonist suppression protocol.
Background: The hamstring muscles play a critical role in the prevention of lower limb injuries. However, it is still unclear which exercises are more effective in terms of muscle activation.
Hypothesis: In healthy individuals, there are differences between muscular activations of the biceps femoris (BF), semitendinosus (ST), and semimembranosus (SM) muscles during eccentric hamstring exercises.
Background: Limited data are available regarding hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and moxifloxacin (MOX) in patients with possible coronavirus disease 2019, (COVID-19). Both drugs may increase risk of malignant ventricular arrhythmias associated with prolongation of QT interval.
Methods: A total of 76 subjects with chest tomography findings compatible with COVID-19 pneumonia were enrolled in the study.
Aim: To evaluate the effect of trigger day progesterone (P) levels on live birth in freeze-all cycles.
Material And Methods: Retrospective analysis of 1034 freeze-all female patients aged <38 years with single blastocyst transfers. Patients with ( = 268) or without ( = 766) preimplantation genetic test for aneuploidy (PGT-A) arm were further categorized into three subgroups based on trigger day P levels; low (<0.
Background: Is freeze-all strategy effective in terms of cumulative live birth rates (CLBRs) in all patients?
Methods: This retrospective single-center study analyzed the CLBRs of 2523 patients undergoing fresh or electively frozen blastocyst transfer cycles. In 1047, cycles, the fresh embryo transfer (ET) strategy was applied for the 1st ET, whereas electively frozen ET (e-FET) was performed in 1476 cycles. Female age ≤ 37 and blastocysts frozen via vitrification were included.
Introduction: Telomeres play an important role in maintaining chromosomal integrity. Functional loss of telomeres increases the risk of cancer by causing genomic instability. Telomere length abnormalities have been reported in several precancerous lesions.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a metabolic and endocrine disorder which affects women of reproductive age with prevalence of 8-18%. The oocyte within the follicle is surrounded by cumulus cells (CCs), which connect with mural granulosa cells (MGCs) that are responsible for secreting steroid hormones. The main aim of this study is comparing gene expression profiles of MGCs and CCs in PCOS and control samples to identify PCOS-specific differentially expressed genes (DEGs).
