Objective: We aimed to discuss our experience of a higher incidence of catheter-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) during the needle-free connector (NFC) and single-use prefilled flushing syringe (PFS) shortage.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective analyses were carried out to investigate the CLABSI rates at a tertiary training hospital from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, and the study period included a three-month shortage of NFCs and PFSs in April and June 2023.

Effects of a Short-Term Vocal Loading Task and Different Restoration Strategies on Voice.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a short-term (30 minutes) vocal loading task (VLT) on the objective and subjective parameters of voice and determine the restorative strategies of three different vocal exercises performed after the VLT.

Unexpectedly, the results reveal that KDM4E and, less efficiently, KDM4D catalyse C-4 hydroxylation of Arg-20 of H2a on peptides, recombinant H2a, and calf histone extracts, including when the Arg-20 guanidino group is N-methylated.

In this editorial, I address the mental health status of patients who have been discharged from intensive care units (ICUs) after battling coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). An ICU admission is generally a stressful experience, and for severe COVID-19 survivors prolonged treatment in the ICU can lead to significant psychological consequences. These individuals may experience psychiatric distress, including symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, and even post-traumatic psychological issues.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to translate the Exercise Benefits/Barriers Scale (EBBS) into Turkish and investigate the perceptions of Turkish-speaking patients with different axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) subtypes regarding exercise benefits and barriers.

Patients And Methods: This validation study was conducted between June 2018 and December 2021. Patients with axSpA were consecutively assessed regarding physical (age, sex and body mass index) and disease-related characteristics (disease activity, spinal mobility, functional status, quality of life, health status, emotional status, and kinesiophobia).

The relationship between severity of periapical periodontitis and next-generation systemic inflammatory biomarkers in children with early childhood caries.

Introduction: Early childhood caries (ECC) is closely associated with poor oral hygiene and cariogenic diet. Untreated ECC results in recurrent odontogenic infections and local and systemic consequences.
