Copper-based nanomaterials demonstrate promising potential in cancer therapy. Cu efficiently triggers a Fenton-like reaction and further consumes the high level of glutathione, initiating chemical dynamic therapy (CDT) and ferroptosis. Cuproptosis, a newly identified cell death modality that represents a great prospect in cancer therapy, is activated.

The increasing potential chemoresistance of TNBC patients is mainly due to that tumor cells escape from apoptosis. In recent years, statins have demonstrated extensive anti-tumor effects.

The luminal subtype of breast cancer shows less NAC response than the basal subtype, with an inefficient NAC treatment effect. Understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms responsible for this chemoresistance is an important issue when determining optimal treatment.

This study aimed to probe their prognostic values and relations with tumor immunity in BC.
Methods: TMED family mRNA expression was assessed in five microarray datasets (GSE65212, GSE42568, GSE5364, GSE22820 and GSE45827) from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and invasive breast cancer (BRCA) cohort from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA).

The findings regarding the association between statins use and breast cancer are inconsistent. Given the widely and long-term use of statins as first choice drug for dyslipidemia, we conducted this meta-analysis for better understanding the associations between statins use and the risk and prognosis of breast cancer. Articles regarding effect of statins use on risk, prognosis of breast cancer and published before January 2021 were searched in the following databases: Web of Science, PubMed, EMBASE, Medline and Google Scholar.

In this study, we generated a novel herbal formula NHE-06, a water-decocting extract from six natural herbals, Ficus carica, Taraxacum mongolicum, Angelica sinensis, Lonicera japonica, Pseudo-ginseng and Folium ginkgo. We investigated the anti-inflammatory properties of NHE-06 and its antitumor efficacy in hepatocellular carcinoma, a typical inflammation-related cancer.
