Clinical characteristics of pneumonia patients of long course of illness infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19 have been reported in the last two years. A few studies reported clinical course of illness of median 22 days, including viral shedding of median 20 days, but there are several cases with a longer time of viral shedding. In this study, we included four cases with a longer illness course of more than 40 days who had been discharged or still in hospital by March 15, 2020.

Long-term Changes in the Premature Death Rate in Lung Cancer in a Developed Region of China: Population-based Study.

Background: Lung cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and its incidence shows an upward trend. Mining the Characteristics of COVID-19 Patients in China: Analysis of Social Media Posts.

Background: In December 2019, pneumonia cases of unknown origin were reported in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. Identified as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the number of cases grew rapidly by human-to-human transmission in Wuhan. Social media, especially Sina Weibo (a major Chinese microblogging social media site), has become an important platform for the public to obtain information and seek help.
