Background: Good gastric preparation is indispensable for Magnetic-controlled Capsule Endoscopy (MCE) examination, but there is no consensus yet. We aim to explore the clinical application value of positioning exercises in improving the quality of MCE examination.
Methods: Clinical data of 326 patients who underwent MCE examination from January 2020 to December 2023 were collected.
Abnormalities in CD4 T cell (Th cell) differentiation play an important role in the pathogenesis of viral myocarditis (VMC). Our previous studies demonstrated that activation of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway (CAP) alleviated the inflammatory response. In addition, we observed that right cervical vagotomy aggravates VMC by inhibiting CAP.

Experiments: The self-growth NiP nanosheet arrays with abundant cationic vacancy defects (V-NiP/NF) has been synthesized via a facile multi-step reaction process involving hydrothermal, phosphorization and acid-etching of Mn which was doped in NiP nanosheets as a sacrificial dopant.
This study was designed to explore the effects of ivabradine on cardiomyocyte apoptosis in a murine model of chronic viral myocarditis (CVMC). Mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with Coxsackievirus B3 at days 1, 14, and 28, respectively. On day 42, the mice were gavaged with ivabradine for 30 days until the 72nd day.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe morbidity of myocarditis demonstrates an upward tendency by years, is commonly defined as the inflammation of myocytes and is caused by multiple factors. With the development of the molecular biological technique, great breakthroughs in the diagnosis and understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms of myocarditis have recently been achieved. Several questions remain unresolved, however, including standard treatment approaches to myocarditis, which remain controversial and ambiguous.

However, the overall diagnostic accuracy of lncRNAs for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains unclear. Herein, we perform a meta-analysis to assess diagnostic value of lncRNAs for HCC.

The morphological changes of QRS complex, ST segment, and T wave were compared to IVEB with sinus rhythm from the same period and fully evolved phase.

Jing-8 and the structure was determined as alternariol 1'-hydroxy-9-methyl ether (1), together with twelve known compounds. The structures were elucidated on the basis of their 1D, 2D NMR spectra and mass spectrometric data.

Four-to-five-week-old male balb/c mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with coxsackievirus B3 (Strain Nancy) on days 1, 14, and 28. The day of the first virus inoculation was defined as day 1.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFRecently, ferroelectric perovskite oxides have drawn much attention due to potential applications in the field of solar energy conversion. However, the power conversion efficiency of ferroelectric photovoltaic effect currently reported is far below the expectable value. One of the crucial problems lies in the two back-to-back Schottky barriers, which are formed at the ferroelectric-electrode interfaces and blocking most of photo-generated carriers to reach the outside circuit.

In several models, vagus nerve activation with the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7-nAChR) agonists has been demonstrated to ameliorate inflammation. This study was therefore designed to examine the effects of cholinergic stimulation with α7-nAChR agonist nicotine in a murine model of acute viral myocarditis.

The aim of this study was to investigate the dose-related effects of nicotine, an alpha7 nAChR agonist, in murine model of viral myocarditis. BALB/C mice were infected by an intraperitoneally injection with coxsackievirus B3.

The Raman spectrums of hemoglobin from 20 normal persons and 21 esophageal cancer patients were measured and analyzed in the present paper, the results show obvious differences between the Raman spectrums of esophageal cancer patients and normal persons. Compared with normal persons, there are more iron ions in low spin state and less in high spin state in the hemoglobin of esophageal cancer patients. It indicates that some iron ions in high spin state turned to low spin state because of cancerization, and this experimental result coincides with the fact that hemolysis is more likely to occur in cancer patients.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA simple hydrothermal method has been developed for the one-step synthesis of copper-core/carbon-sheath nanocables in solution. The obtained nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and high-resolution TEM (HRTEM), Raman, and UV-vis spectrum analysis. These copper@carbon nanocables formed through the hydrothermal reduction/carbonization in the presence of surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) acting as the structure-directing agent by hydrothermal treatment.
