The Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ) is widely used in clinical settings to screen for sleep problems in children aged 4-10 years. Existing studies on children in different cultures have included children across a wide age range and results have raised questions about CSHQ's psychometric quality. Our study addressed some of the limitations of existing studies by focusing on Chinese children within a much narrower age range of 4-5 years old.
