This study concerns the analysis of navigational risk indicators as a function of the ship's domain width estimated for nine selected representative ships sailing under various hydrometeorological conditions (average and deteriorated ones) observed within the Offshore Wind Farm to be constructed within the Polish offshore zone on the Baltic Sea. For this purpose, the authors compare three types of domain parameters according to the guidelines by the PIANC, Coldwell and Rutkowski (3D). The study enabled selection of a group of ships which can be considered safe and can optionally be allowed to navigate and/or fish in the immediate vicinity and within the offshore wind farm.

Batychron is a flexible underwater bell patented by the Gdynia Maritime University as a device used in hydro-technics engineering for underwater transport and diving while maintaining the safety of human life. This study aims to present the methods and results of strength tests and the conducted analysis of the selection of the most appropriate method of joining thermoplastic polyurethane film (TPU) and polypropylene belts for underwater use to obtain a device with a specific buoyancy force. A universal testing machine with a hydraulic drive was used for the tests.

The purpose and scope of this paper are to provide guidance of the potential impacts of being subjected to high level noise recorded on 1st generation (30 years old) floating storage and offloading vessels (FSO) in sector offshore. The international community recognizes that vibroacoustic impacts from commercial ships may have negative consequences for both humans (worker's) and marine life, especially marine mammals. As regards the effect of noise on human health, there are legal requirements imposing the noise exposure control on personnel working on ships.
