View Article and Find Full Text PDFCuCrSe nanoparticles were obtained by the high-energy ball milling of CuCrSe single crystals, which had a size of approximately 32 nm after 5 h of milling. Structural, magnetic, and electrical studies have shown that a reduction in CuCrSe single crystals to the nanosize leads to (1) a weakening of ferromagnetic interactions, both long and short range, (2) a lack of saturation of magnetization at 5 K and 70 kOe, (3) a change in the nature of electrical conductivity from metallic to semiconductor, and (4) a reduction in the thermoelectric power factor Sσ by an order of magnitude of 400 K. The above results were considered in terms of the parameters of the band model, derived from the high-temperature expansion of magnetic susceptibility and from the diffusive component of thermoelectric power.

For this purpose, structural, microscopic, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis), magnetic, electrical, and thermoelectric measurements were performed. These studies showed a monoclinic structure, paramagnetism, short-range antiferromagnetic interactions in all samples, long-range ferrimagnetic interactions only in CoYWO, poor -type conductivity of 6.

This paper presents the results of structural, optical, magnetic and electrical, as well as the broadband dielectric spectroscopy measurements of PNMWO single crystals. Research has shown that replacing diamagnetic Pb ions with paramagnetic Nd ones, with a content not exceeding 0.

We present comprehensive investigations of structural, electrical transport, magnetic, and specific heat properties. It was expected that a partial replacement of Cr ions by a more significant Ta one would lead to a change in direct magnetic interactions between Cr magnetic moments and result in a change in the magnetic ground state and electric transport properties of the ZnCrTaSe ( = 0.

In humans it is most frequently related to sarcoidosis, where a concurrent granulomatous neuritis has been reported occasionally. Simultaneous granulomatous myositis and neuritis have been diagnosed previously in dogs (unpublished observations), but have not been studied further.

Objectives: To describe arrhythmias in dogs within 48 hours of envenomation, and investigate associations between arrhythmia grade, serum troponin I (cTnI), and snakebite severity score (SS score).

Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the association of survival with variables that could be utilized to improve clinical decisions. A total of 1194 dogs with a gross and histopathological diagnosis of GBM were included from 41 veterinary referral hospitals in this retrospective study.

The conditions of stability of the spin glass state have been analyzed here on the basis of the de Almeida-Thouless theory for two spinels differing in the magnetic coupling constants. It turned out that for the higher value of the coupling constant the magnetic field influences the freezing temperature more strongly.
