Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a complication following allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant that frequently causes multiorgan affection and decrease in quality of life. Global assessment and care of these patients require a multidisciplinary approach, but access to focused clinics is limited given their scarcity and location in major cities, as well as mobility and transportation challenges that frequently affect these patients. Thus, we established a multispecialty GVHD telehealth (TH) clinic and hypothesized that a virtual platform will expand access to clinical care in children and adults.

Objectives: Review commonly used mobility assessment instruments and discuss their use in multidisciplinary research and clinical practice.

Methods: Data sources include peer-reviewed articles sourced in electronic databases (PubMed, CINAHL), government websites, national, and international best practice guidelines to describe frequently used mobility assessment instruments.

Results: Numerous clinician-, observer-, patient-reported, and performance outcome instruments and evidence-based implementation program resources exist, though these vary in their intended purpose and setting.

Steroids are broadly used in oncology, despite known adverse events such as glucocorticosteroid-induced myopathy (SM). To date there are no accepted guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of SM. The purpose of this review is to provide up-to-date information regarding SM with emphasis on neuro-oncology and hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients, given they are at high risk of experiencing SM following routine treatment with steroids.

Diagnosis is often delayed because the symptoms are often nonspecific and also because of the high incidence of nonspecific low back pain in the general population.

The purpose of this study was to develop a three-dimensional (3D) motion analysis based anatomical wrist joint coordinate system for measurement of in-vivo wrist kinematics. The convergent validity and reliability of the 3D motion analysis implementation was quantified and compared with manual and electrogoniometry techniques on 10 cadaveric specimens. Fluoroscopic measurements were used as the reference.
