At the time when pathogens are developing robust resistance to antibiotics, the demand for implant surfaces with microbe-killing capabilities has significantly risen. To achieve this goal, profound understanding of the underlying mechanisms is crucial. Our study demonstrates that graphene oxide (GO) nano films deposited on stainless steel (SS316L) exhibit superior antibacterial features.

In the case of the Necker cube, an entirely ambiguous stimulus, observers often display a bias in perceptual switching between two interpretations based on their perspectives: one with a from-above perspective (FA) and the other with a from-below perspective (FB). Typically, observers exhibit a priori top-down bias in favor of the FA interpretation, which may stem from a statistical tendency in everyday life where we more frequently observe objects from above.

Here, we address this issue by applying repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) to the left DLPFC and evaluating its effect on brain activity and the latency of MI response. This is a randomized, sham-controlled EEG study.

We developed an experimental paradigm adapted for naïve individuals and a multisensory experimental paradigm. We showed that in the proposed experimental paradigms, subjects trained well and significantly increased their accuracy.

In this study, we address the issue of whether vibrotactile feedback can enhance the motor cortex excitability translated into the plastic changes in local cortical areas during motor imagery (MI) BCI-based training. For this purpose, we focused on two of the most notable neurophysiological effects of MI - the event-related desynchronization (ERD) level and the increase in cortical excitability assessed with navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS). For TMS navigation, we used individual high-resolution 3D brain MRIs.

Materials And Methods: The study comprised 112 men aged 52 to 84 years with a morphologically verified diagnosis of prostate cancer. All patients underwent pelvic mp-MRI before radical prostatectomy (RPE) no earlier than six weeks after the prostate biopsy.
Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) is a rapidly developing field of endoscopic management of urolithiasis. Previously considered an additional technique in patients with lower calyx stones that do not respond to extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, now the RIRS along with percutaneous surgery is gaining a leading position in the management of kidney stones. Currently, it is recommended as the main surgical modality for treating stones less than 2 cm, especially in cases where extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is not feasible or not desirable.

Aim: To investigate the rates of regaining continence and erectile function (EF) after nerve-sparing radical retropubic prostatectomy (NS-RRP) and nerve-sparing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (NS-LRP) in the early postoperative period.
Materials And Methods: The study comprised 116 patients who preserved sexual activity and the ability to have sex.

The components of cognitive operant behavior of rats was investigated after preliminary development of a unilateral conditioned reinforcement reflex of an active avoidance aversive stimulus in the problem chamber. It is established, that cognitive abilities associated with phenotypes factors, as age and a sex. In applied aspect of research comparable actions by efficiency with Pyracetamum are reveal nootrop and activating properties at the Chinese vegetative preparation.

Was found a mid-year increase of index of morbidity among call-up staff on 6.84%, and among contract military servicemen--on 4.

Individual measures of investigative activity and levels of anxiety were measured using classical methods-the open field test and the elevated plus maze test. The productivity of directed seeking activity was studied using methods developed by ourselves in a universal problem-solving box.

Renal ultrasonography permits in the majority of cases to make diagnosis based on dilatation of caliceal-pelvic system, sometimes with detection of obstruction cause. It is necessary to differentiate parapelvical cysts from dilatation of caliceal-pelvic system, therefore pharmacultrasonic examination of the kidneys with lasix is recommended.

MRU provides the same information about the obstruction and dilatation of the urinary tracts as excretory urography (EU). In cases of EU contraindication (allergy, renal failure) or lack of contrast substance excretion, MRU allows to avoid additional invasive diagnostic procedures.

Searching activity (SA) is the way to satisfy the need of overcoming and the mechanism of development of all forms of behavior under conditions of deficit of pragmatic information. SA is temporarily incorporated into the structure of the initial phase of all behavioral forms. The SA has energy and cognitive components that can be measured using Grigoriev's technique and his problem box.
